Vehicle description
2004 Kodiak with the desirable LLY Duramax engine backed up by a 5 automatic speed Allison transmission with just over 96,000 miles from new. I drive the truck, so the miles continue to go up, but still under 97,000
This is true Monroe converted truck that was available from 2004 - 2009 which means it has the correct long bedsides not a stock GM long bed dually bed, upgraded interior seats, upgraded air filter, and many other options.
The truck is 2wd and has been lifted +/- 12" over stock with new springs. 22.5 direct bolt on Alcoa"s with 11R (+/- 41") Toyo tires. The typical steering issues that come with a lifted truck were corrected by making a new adjustable drag link and flipping the mount
Interior is clean with air ride seats and power rear seat that folds out into a bed. A center console has been added, and new plastics were bought from the local dealer to replace the silver painted ones that came with the truck from Monroe
PioneerDVD / iPod / Bluetooth / hands-free deck and Pioneer door speakers replaced the stock units, a JL 8" subwoofer with Alpine "mono" amp to run it is hidden under the rear seat as well. DVR player mounted to the headliner from the factory (Monroe) but it has never worked for me.
Onboard air system consists of Twin Viair compressors and twin 5-gallon stainless tanks. They supply the air ride seats, air ride cab, exhaust brake, train horn, and have more than enough volume to run air tools if needed.
Compressors and tanks were relocated when installed as were the twin Interstate AGM batteries. At the same time, AMP steps were installed and the exhaust stacks were removed, the result is a very clean look.
21" drop hitch with 2" and 2 5/16" balls and a brake controller make towing ANYTHING a breeze. A hideaway goose neck hitch and plug are in the bed if you desire a lifted goose neck trailer behind the truck as well. Edge Juice w/ Attitude controller monitors all engine functions and makes tuning on the go a breeze. Typical MPG is +/-17MPG loaded, unloaded, city, hwy, doesn"t matter.
Plenty more info and photos available. If interested drop me a message.
