Vehicle description
Truck was original set up with the steel diamond plate bed with the tool boxes with a smaller seal coat system on it. Later it was outfitted with the new Ridge Runner 550 gallon seal coat machine that was used a couple of times. Truck has a 6.1 gas engine with a 6 speed manual transmission.
Note: 6.1 gas vs 6.7 diesel The 6.1 has 325 hp with 450 ft lbs of torque average 9 mpg @ 2.30 per gal. = .25 per mile The 6.7 has 300 hp with 520 ft lbs of torque average 12 mpg@ 3:30 per gal = .27 per mile
The manual transmission was picked so it will maintain a consistent speed in 1st gear for spraying. Last thing about gas vs diesel is if by chance someone puts gas in a Diesel engine it’s done 10 to 15 K to replace/rebuild on the other hand diesel fuel pumped into a gas engine no damage.
