Vehicle description
Picked up this car for my 15 year old son to drive because it was in such incredible condition. He wants to go with a truck instead, so selling this to get a Tacoma/Tundra. Great condition. Bought from a retired man who used it as an Uber car to make extra money during retirement. He was was the 2nd owner, the original owner was his 85 year old father, a farmer in Idaho. I really don"t have much time in this vehicle, we probably put less than 500 miles on it since last summer.
Near new name brand tires. Wheels looking good and seller told me they were only a year old. New lower control arm bushings installed less than 1000 miles ago. New HID projector headlight assemblies, bulbs and balast (did just to upgrade the stock lights to something more modern and better light output). Slightly below average miles. Appears to be well maintained. Since it has been parked in our driveway for 6 months, it has developed a valve cover oil leak (very common to these BMW"s). My local mechanic estimated $500-$1100 to fix this (depending on if I wanted to replace it with a new valve cover or just reseal) and also replace the oil filter housing seal which also goes out at about this mileage. So take that into consideration. Coolant tanks/radiator appear fine, no leaks. Drives smooth. A/C works great. No check engine lights, no air bag lights, pixels on dash and radio working. Leather in good condition. Body in good condition. I have not found any rust, and it has been a western desert car most of its life. Paint was recently sealed last summer with nano-ceramic wax, very shiny. Japan-Red is a fairly rare color I think, I have never seen another 325i on the road in this color. Hood has normal rock chips from highway use. No sunroof to worry about leaking or getting stuck. Great basic luxury car that is easy to maintain, work on and drive.
