| “New IMS& Rear Main Seal done as Preventative Maintenance. Good tires, brakes and outstanding Titronic Transmission 5 speed. This car is a very clean, low mileage sports car with delightful blend of horsepower, suspension compliance, cornering grip and gearbox precision. A miner "Bumper Bender" in 2007 resulted in a new bumper and left headlight. No other damange of note. The repair quality is excellent. It matches a Maserati as a quick 0-60 (5.0 sec.), quicker in the quarter mile, fastest through the slalom and grippiest in the skid pad. It also had the shortest braking distances, and ties for best fuel economy.The new permanent IMS upgrade is with a 5-year warranty on parts! (Some charge $7k for the upgrade alone!) This Porsche 996 is very clean, low mileage sports car with such delightful blend of horsepower, suspension compliance, cornering grip and gearbox precision — topped off by a lovely view down the hood that really does remind you of the ethereal 550 Spyder — it"s hard not to just grin from ear to ear! Like the classic exotics, the 911 feels as if there"s a highly evolved race car just beneath the surface, but the Porsche comes with an added dash of logic, civility and balance. That balance shows up everywhere, it is made to drive. Why buy this car? The 996 is a GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY! It’s by far the cheapest used 911 generation on the market, yet it’s comfortably quicker than any air-cooled Carrera before it (in terms of top speed, 0-60 mph and bhp). The 996 was lavished with a healthy array of modern comforts, too. This 996 won’t get hot in traffic like its air-cooled forebears, and there’s plenty of room in the trunk. Values of these can’t go any lower. There’s been a small spike in residual values of the 996 in recent months, as well. The fact is, the 996 is a great 911, and people are finally waking up to its merits. The IMS Upgrade was done for my peace of mind, and the buyers. Please note the use of cylindrical bearings and foreced oil lubrication. This is a well cared for vehicle with an average use of only about 4800 miles a year!
