2003 Pontiac Grand AM GT 3400 SFI Ram Air V6 170,000+ Miles, 4 door with Sunroof & Chrome Wheels. Engine runs good, Sealed Transmission needs to be replaced, hard to get into gear sometimes making it difficult to drive, already been looked at by a mechanic and was told it needs to be replaced. Valve cover gasket is leaking some oil visible around the cover and the head gasket is slowly leaking and also needs to be replaced, there are signs of oil mixing with the coolant in the reservoir bottle. Front bumper is cracked in a few places at the lower left corner & lower left side. Left & Right fender & right front door have a few dents, right quarter panel has some rust under the fuel door. Right front fog light needs a new bulb. Rear bumper is sun faded and has paint chips and numerous scratches & scrapes. Trunk has some dents and scratches under the third brake light. Left quarter has some dents and scratches and is missing the plastic wheel house. Chrome wheels are in good condition & look nice. Interior looks nice, carpet has a few stains & some burn marks on the drivers seat and some stains in the trunk. Dashboard is sun dried and curled up on the drivers side, plastic vent cover on the dash is cracked apart. Backlight on the Monsoon stereo is not working but works great and is very loud, rear speakers were replaced 1 year ago with new OEM speakers. Does not have the original chip key or key fob, only 2 non-chip copies which from time to time causes a security malfunction that cuts off the fuel pump and will not start. I learned the way to resolve the problem is to turn the key to the ACC position and wait about 7 minutes for the security light to stop flashing and disappear, turn the key off and take it out, put the key back in and start the car, works every time. Power lock switch not working correctly, only works to unlock so doors have to locked manually, the trunk button on the drivers door panel and the cruise control buttons under the steering wheel are also not working. Battery is 2 years old, water pump, rear struts and trailing arms were replaced a few years ago. Both rear tires are worn down and need to be replaced, right rear has a nail in it with a slow leak. Headlights are Eagle eyes aftermarket replacements installed 2 years ago, coating starting to peel, all bulbs working. Good A/C and heat. Good project car or for parts, now up for auction trying to avoid sending this off to the junkyard. Buyer is responsible for pick-up of vehicle for local pick up only.
