For sale is an absolutely beautiful 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII with just 116,150 original miles. This Evo is finished in Tarmac Black over a black and blue trimmed interior and has had just two owners since new. This Evo sold new at Torrence Mitsubishi of Torrence, California before being brought to the Seattle, Washington area where it remained for most of its life. This Evo has a clean title and clean CarFax report and retains every original vin sticker on all of the body panels, including the front and rear bumper covers. The car is offered for sale with all of its original owner"s manuals and pamphlets along with the original window sticker from new.
This car has been tastefully modified and was dyno tuned by English Racing of Camas, Washington. The car has the following aftermarket parts installed: full Invidia exhaust with Ultimate Racing high flow cat, Injen intake and intercooler piping, Evo 9 turbo and ported hot side, ported exhaust manifold, Evo 9 blow off valve, VRSF 3" intercooler, VRSF external wastegate dump, Spoolin" Up ignition coil kit, Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump and AEM pillar gauges for air/fuel, boost and oil pressure. The car was conservatively tuned on 91 octane and made 326 AWHP. The car comes complete with every factory original part that was removed including the original 17" Enkei wheels, factory turbo, factory exhaust manifold, factory exhaust with cat and muffler, coils and coil cover, intercooler and piping, fuel pump and driver"s side A-pillar molding. The car is also fitted with a turbo timer.
The interior of this Evo is very nice. The dashboard is perfect without any fading, buckling or sun damage. All of the gauges are working. The MOMO steering wheel looks excellent with very minimal wear. The Recaro seats look great with just some minor wear to the bolsters as shown below. The carpets are free of any stains or cigarette burns and all of the original Evolution VIII branded floor mats remain in the car. This is a non-smoker vehicle and the cigarette lighter and ashtray appear unused. The headliner is not sagging anywhere. The door panels are in excellent condition with the exception of some wear to the material of the front passenger door panel where it meets the side of the dash as shown. The car is fitted with an aftermarket Sony radio head unit.
The exterior of this Evo is beautiful. The Tarmac Black paint looks incredible with a deep shine and has a nice blue metallic content. The body is incredibly straight and the panel alignment is excellent. The car does have some blemishes typical of the age and mileage such as road chips and a few fine scratches, but no major blemishes otherwise. The undercarriage of this car is completely rust free and solid as shown below. The previous owner of 9 years rarely drove the car in the rain and never in snow.
This Evo runs very well and is a blast to drive. The exhaust mixed with the external wastgate and blowoff valve is an intoxicating sound that will always put a smile on your face. The car is fitted with a set of 18" XXR wheels with a set of continental extreme contact tires with less than 1,200 miles on them. The timing belt and crank position sensor were replaced at 110,000 miles and the heater core was replaced at 108,000 miles, both services under previous ownership.
