Vehicle description
03 Evo, 123k Miles Runs, And drives no mechanical issues. ETS HTA 3582 Turbo Kit Till Wastegate Evo 9 BOV Full Exhaust VRSF 4" intercooler CAI FIC 1450CC Injectors ARP head studs Crower 272 cams Adjustable Cam gears Car runs on e85 BC Racing Adjustable Coilovers Exedy Replacement clutch Car has Mitsubishi 2 pots brake calipers and rotors in the front, and Also comes with the factory brembos, and rotors The car ran 11.4x at 130mph in the 1/4 with a 1.9 60" on street tires. I switched to different cams, and to the electronic boost controller. And thats when We ran into issues tuning. The car was running very close to the same boost level however the tuner couldn"t adjust it.
The Bad
The car is will need a Ecu tune. I was in the process of getting it tuned, and the tuner wasn"t able to control the change the boost level on the electronic grim speed boost controller. The fuel trims and AF/R were fine, but I haven"t gone WOT since then. And I would not go WOT on the car without getting it tuned. I have gotten busy and the car has pretty much sat. I"ll drive it to the gas station maybe once every few months.
The car was hit in the rear quarter panel a few months ago, and was repaired. The body shop did a great job and I can"t tell it was hit.
The Wheels were spray painted and need to be painted.
2 big scratches that aren"t super deep. Could possibly be buffed out, or could be touched up. There is also some paint chips in the front bumper.
The AC knob is hard to turn, very common with Evos.
After the car is running for a while, If you restart it, it will sometimes take a few seconds for it to idle up.
The car is sold as is. The motor, Trans, Transfer case are all in good shape. With a tune, this car will be good to go.
