Vehicle description

2003 Mitsubishi Diamante LS for sale. 3.5L V6, automatic, leather, etc. Car is not drivable for more than a few miles b/c it overheats. . Fairly certain the thermostat is stuck closed or something. In fact, a new thermostat is included in box from Autozone. Car also leaks/consumes a significant amount of oil, so definitely a fixer-upper or buy her for parts, but the vehicle was a reliable daily driver for many years and if fixed will be in good shape. Paint and interior are in good condition, I know these pictures don"t do it justice as its dirty and sitting now but when washed and clean she sparkles. Leather is in great shape inside. Center console fake wood is cracked from botched stereo replacement, however aftermarket stereo does work well. Air conditioning works fine, but is operable with a rocker switch under steering wheel from prior repairs. Lots of service receipts included as well as owner"s manual. Rear tires need air. Definitely needs to be picked up on a flatbed not driven home but again with oil leak/consumption repaired and thermostat/overheating repaired car will be good as new. Most economical option might be to drop in another engine from another Diamante. I don"t have the time or money to do so, otherwise I would definitely keep the car as it is generally very reliable. Only recently giving trouble. Metal pole in pictures included to prop up hood as the pneumatic cylinders no longer do the job. Onstar-capable with aftermarket rearview mirror.
