Vehicle description

Denver, COwilling to meet at airport for out of state buyersJohn Cooper Works!2003 Mini Cooper S 133k Miles, Clean title, 6 speed, supercharged inline 4Here we have a pre-facelift MCS with the ultra rare John Cooper Works package. This combination of the mini cooper is rare due to having to have the JCW package installed by the dealership after purchasing the vehicle with a premium cost of more than $4000. I am looking to move into a mid-size sedan/wagon for my next vehicle. Car is lightly modded and has had extensive maintenance and repairs done in the last 5k miles. The MCS does show its age in some areas which I will try my best to list below.Recent maintenance:-Full synthetic oil change less than 1000 miles ago-Cooling system overhaul with new water pump, new thermostat, new thermostat housing less than 500 miles ago-Fan low speed resistor + fan shroud replaced last year-Coolant overflow replaced with durable metal tank (extremely common weak point for cooling system) less than 50 miles ago-17% reduced pulley and new belt (will include the original JCS 11% pulley and belt) with less than 1000 miles-Supercharger serviced at time same time as pulley swap-Brake system overhaul with new rotors and ceramic pads and fluid flush -less than 500 miles ago -New Stagg gas shocks with Vogland lowering springs (~1 inch drop) -Compression test as of May 8th: 135 - 128 - 128 -130 (uncorrected at 5280 ft elevation)-Transmission replaced roughly 90-100k along with clutch service-Timing chain serviced roughly 90-100k as well-New spark plugs as of May 17thMods:-John Cooper Works kit with provided original paperwork certification-Chronos Package (dual pod instrument cluster + navigation)-boost gauge with mounting kit-Alta cold air intake system, improves IAT and also lets the supercharger whine more audible (its addicting to hear the whine)-John Cooper works muffler tips-Newer steering wheels swap from an r56, cruise control buttons still work-Resonator delete (in-cabin sound is almost completely unaltered, supercharger whine overpowers exhaust noise)-MST wheels with Achilles summer tires with plenty of tread-Enkei wheels with snow tires with half a winters usage-Stag gas shocks with Vogtland lowering springs ~1 inch drop over standard (also have stock springs)-Anti-mushroom strut top plates with added static camber (minis are known to deform the strut mounts)-Aftermarket projector lens headlights with HIDs and washer delete (looks great and has much greater output over stock)-Pioneer bluetooth headunit with upgraded speakers all around -Small JBL subwoofer with amp located under seat-Mont Blanc Roof rails + Amazon roof basket-Blacksys dashcam system with parking mode front and rearBad:-Dents and dings typical of an older vehicle-small stone chip in windshield-fading trim here and there-Car had a slow leak from an O-ring that was leaking for several years. Was replaced at the time of the supercharger service, but left a good amount of oil grime underneath the car-Anti mushroom plates cause the strut top hats to make noise when turning on cold days (needs to be greased)-Window regulators show their age. Driver"s window needs the "whack" to get it unstuck occasionally (google it, another common mini issue) while the passenger regulator clicks when it reaches the top-Summer tires rub in rear on larger dips and bumpsThe price reflects how the car currently sits and with all spare parts. I have focused my time and attention to first and foremost making the car reliable and doing any preventative mods and maintenance. I will slowly be r&r"ing the cosmetic aspects of the vehicle till sale. I am missing a lot of information on the vehicle and things I have done to it.
