Interior is in good shape:
• Cloth seats (4), 3-point belts on all seats
• Manually-adjustable front bucket seats, rear seats fold forward
• Front and side airbags
• Tilt steering
• CD/AM/FM stereo
Exterior also in good condition:
• Power tilt/slide sunroof, rear moonroof, both tinted, no leaks
• On/intermittent/fast windshield wiper speeds
• Body is in good shape, no dents that broke paint. No body rust that I’ve seen.
• Original 8-spoke 15” alloy rims
• Matching 175/65R15 tires on now, low-profile, ~50% tread on them, all pass the penny depth test (see photo).
Repairs done or needed:
• Front windshield has a ~0.5 cm star chip in it, about 2" above driver"s center of vision. No damage to side or rear windows.
• The gasket at the top of the windshield came loose and has been replaced with silicone to avoid removing the windshield.
• The rear window wiper arm tension is weak, may be repairable.
• The rear window washer fluid pump stopped working. The pump is combined with the wiper motor in one unit and they need to be replaced together. I"ve been told that failure of the pump in this design is common. The wiper motor works correctly.
• There"s a dent in the front bumper on the driver"s side. ~5 mph bump in the snow against a stop sign post that bent into the wet grass. The impact cracked the plastic finish on the bumper, but didn"t scratch or crack the lens for the marker and turn signal light (see photo).
* Engine issues *
Engine fault code P0303 for cylinder 3 misfire.
March 2017:
• Replaced plugs with Mini plugs and coil pack
• Pgh Mini dealer checked oxygen sensors (one passed, replaced the other), checked electrical system (no problems).
• Feb 2018, safety inspection passed. The emissions inspection failed due to the cylinder misfire code. For the repairs and inspections noted above, I spent $800+ between the dealer and private mechanic.
• May 2019: Coolant stopped cycling. I limited my driving to
