Vehicle description
One of only 11052 made between 2003 and 2004, the Marauder will be a collector item for years to come. Here’s your chance to own a slightly modified sample that will surprise all the unsuspecting. This is a true sleeper that most discount as a Crown Vic or Grand Marquis. Driving this car is like supercharging a comfy leather recliner, it never fails to get attention at our local cruise ins.
This Marauder has been supercharged using the setup from a 2003 Mustang Cobra. A Metco lower pulley adds to the 10 lbs of boost. It has been dyno tuned by Blankenship Performance and put down 392 HP to the rear wheels on a Mustang dyno. The vehicle comes with the SCT X-Cal 4 hand held tuner that is married to the car. The rear catalytic convertors have been deleted, the o2 sensors have been turned off with the tuner.
The entire front suspension has been replaced including: Upper and lower control arms KYB struts P71 Coils with 3/4 of a coil removed Moog sway bar links Ford reman steering rack Ford steering shaft GT500 rotors C5 Corvette Calipers with custom billet adapter Braided stainless flex hoses
The rear end was rebuilt at 199k with new Ford Racing Carbon Fiber clutches, synthetic fluid, new wheel bearings and seals, new rotors, new pads, new emergency brake shoes, and stainless brake hoses.
The interior has a Pioneer AppRadio 4 professionally installed with the PAC steering wheel control module. A boost gauge was added to the console pod, and the oil pressure gauge is a functioning unit unlike the OEM gauge. The 12V outlet was relocated to the side of the pod. The AUX and USB inputs for the radio are hidden in the center console with an additional 12V outlet. It comes with a set of headrest mounted screens in another pair of headrests that I have not installed. There is a small hole in the driver"s seat, the size of a pea. It can be repaired by someone who has the skills to do so.
Do not let the mileage scare you. The engine makes no noises, is very strong, and does not smoke at all. There is a small leak from the rear of the engine leaving a dime size spot after sitting for a few days. I recently replaced the alternator, battery, all belts and tensioners, and the idler pulleys. The A/C is cold and works great. The trans shifts nice and firm, no stutters or slippage.
The hood, roof, right doors, and right quarter were all painted this spring but the rest of the car is showing it’s age. It has new headlights and marker lights. I added LED bulbs to the headlights. The fog lights are 2015 Mustang units with custom brackets to fit the Marauder bumper. There are door dings, light scratches, and chips on the car. It’s not a show car and it’s better than most I see, do not expect perfection. The grille was customized removing the emblem to add to the sleeper image.
I have owned the car for over two years, I’m only selling because I need funds for the down payment on a house. Everything was done with the expectation of keeping the car forever.
This is a used car, I have listed everything in my knowledge about the vehicle. No trades accepted. No warranty offered or implied, vehicle is sold as is where is. I will drive up to 25 miles to meet a shipper. The title is clean and clear and in my name.
Deposit is non refundable. Relisting due to first buyer backing out.
