Vehicle Details For sale is my beautiful Tectite Grey 2003 S500 Benz. This paint code is somewhat rare from the factory. It also has the optional AMG styling package which includes 18” chrome AMG wheels, and the AMG sport front bumper and valance which makes this S500 look more modern and aggressive than the standard optioned S Class. This is truly the most comfortable Mercedes that I’ve ever owned. The W220 not only has timeless styling, but it rides and drives better than most luxury vehicles out there. This is the Facelift model S Class that started in 2003 so it has the updated front end and rear, as well as the updated stereo/display. It has a beautiful black leather interior with no rips or tears. This car has the 302hp M113 V8 and 5 speed automatic trans. It has a silky smooth powerband and lots of power for a non AMG car. This vehicle has 174k original miles which is nothing for these cars. It runs like new. .I recently put a lot of money ($5300) into this car to make it even better. Recent new parts include:•Steering Gear/New Rack & Pinion•New Power Steering Pump•Alignment•New Radiator•New Coolant Hoses•Fresh full synthetic oil/filter change•New PSE vacuum pump for the door locks and trunk, so they all open and close perfectly.•New Mercedes Factory/Dealer Battery•Recent New front airmatic struts.All of this work was done at GT Imports, a local European garage. I have the receipts/print outs for all the work done. This car drives great, and is incredibly reliable. You can take this car anywhere and feel confident. No electrical problems, all lights work, all windows and locks work, Cold AC, Hot Heater, Dual Zone climate control, Sunroof, factory BOSE sound system, rear privacy screen, heated seats, it all works great. This car can sit for 2 weeks straight and still start right up no problem.The only “issues” with this vehicle is:•The original Key only starts the vehicle but no longer communicates with the vehicle’s keyless entry system, so it needs a new key in order to unlock and lock the vehicle remotely, and the key must be purchased and programmed at the Mercedes dealer. It will cost about $250-$300.•Car will need new tires soon (265/40/18 Rear) & (245/45/18 Front). The current tires hold air fine but are old and for safety reasons the tires should be replaced esp if you plan to commute on the highway.•If you’re in California, the registration/tags are expired and it will cost $329 to bring it up to date.•There are some warning/error messages on the dash for ABS, BAS, SRS, & ESP, but none of these affects the way the vehicle runs, drives, or stops. This car still drives beautifully and safely. There is no check engine light on.I’ve been 100% honest about this vehicle and what it needs in the future and its current condition so you can rest assured that you won’t have any surprises after the car is in your hands.The reason I’m selling this car is because I don’t really need it anymore as I use a pickup truck as my daily driver and I could use the space in my driveway. I’ve owned many Benzs and AMGs but this W220 S500 is one of the nicest and most luxurious vehicles I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning.I have the Clean California Title in hand as well as all receipts for the work that has been done on this car. I also have the original owners manuals and pamphlets from the factory that came with this car, as well as the pre owned window sticker from the previous owner that bought this vehicle from the South Bay Mercedes Benz dealership.I have taken into account the things this vehicle still needs in order to be perfect and have lowered the price accordingly.
