Vehicle description
Welcome! You are bidding on a 2003 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML500 located in Los Angeles, California, USA. CLEAN TITLE and SUPER RARE example with only 48,771 original miles!
This vehicle is in excellent shape for a 17 year old car and runs and drives well. Transmission shifts smoothly and properly; the brakes have a solid feel. The A/C blows cold and the sound system (upgraded) has plenty of oomph! Has never been in an accident nor has it ever been smoked in. Everything works as it should however it"s not perfect. Below are imperfections that I"m aware of but have not fixed because they never bothered me: Small rock chip on windshield; has not spread but is noticeable Windshield has abrasion marks along the wiper path Rear window has minor abrasion marks along wiper path Sunroof wind deflector is broken and should be replaced Driver seat"s seat has burn mark from coil from the heated seat function; a known problem with this generation of Mercedes-Benz vehicles Rear seat (60 portion of the 60/40 split) still folds but the mechanism that allows you to fold is a bit wonky; a common issue with this generation of M-Class Headlight lenses are starting to haze; you can easily replace these with new units if you wanted it to look new again Glove box opens properly but the handle, that lifts to open the door, snapped off on one side The ash tray in the center console is stuck closed Minor paint chips on the right rear quarter panel Just 1 key included Modifications I"ve made: LED low/high beams; can be easily replaced by OEM bulbs Sony XAV-AX100 6.4" head unit w/Bluetooth, Apply Carplay and Android Auto; original Mercedes-Benz head unit will be provided Upgraded amplifier (hidden behind dashboard); original amplifier will be provided Backup camera Weather Tech all season floor liners; original carpet floor mats will be provided LED interior lights; these can be easily be replaced by the OEM bulbs Maintenance performed during my ownership: Oil change Brake fluid exchange Rear brake pads and rotors replaced Rear brake sensors replaced Parking brake replaced Valve cover gasket replaced Why I"m selling it:
I purchased this vehicle earlier in 2020 here on from a seller from Maryland (where the vehicle spent most of its life). I had plans to take this beast on many road trip adventures this year- until the pandemic happened which hit me very hard financially. As much as I don"t want to part with it I don"t drive it enough to justify the costs associated with keeping it. It"s time for someone else to enjoy the car who can actually use it the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
I"m happy to answer any questions you have about the car! Happy bidding!
