Vehicle description
I"m listing for sale my Lexus GX470. I"ve owned this truck for over 2 years and it"s been absolutely phenomenal. I bought it from the elderly original owners who kept it at their summer home in Florida. Because of this and the fact that I"m crazy this truck has never seen salt in it"s entire life. If it snowed I would drive my wife"s Subaru just so it wouldn"t get salty. There is not one speck of rust anywhere under this vehicle. Everything is bone stock with the exception of the Weathertech floor mats and front tinted windows added by the original owner for heat purposes, apparently it"s a Florida thing. I also added a USA-SPEC bluetooth adapter that replaces the factory CD changer and lets you stream audio from your phone. The song info is displayed on the screen and you can control everything from the factory steering wheel controls. Everything sounds phenomenal from the factory Mark Levinson sound system. Original CD changer will be included with the sale. Everything works as it should and the Michelin Tires have tons of tread left on them. The A/C is frosty and the heat is toasty. It does have some expected scratches and little dings here and there from normal wear and tear over 15 years but overall it looks great. That navy over tan leather and sandalwood is a gorgeous combo. This truck could use a nice professional buff and make that classy navy blue really pop. I"m sad to see it go but work is going to be providing me with a company car soon and the wife thinks it would be wasteful to keep it. I did a lot of servicing when I first bought it and sorted all the common issues with this model. This truck is rock solid and I wouldn"t hesitate to drive it to Alaska tomorrow.
Some of the service and repairs done when I first bought it at 66k
NEW OEM Radiator
NEW OEM AC Condenser
NEW OEM Front Brake Pads, Rotors, and Calipers
NEW OEM Rear Air Strut
NEW OEM Blend Door Actuator
Coolant Flush with Toyota Coolant
Only Mobil 1 Oil Changes with Toyota Oil Filters
NEW OEM Air Filter
NEW OEM In Cabin Filter
NEW OEM O2 sensor
NEW OEM Hitch installed
A/C was professionally recharged when the Condenser was replaced
I have receipts for most if not all of this.
I"ve kept track of all the service intervals in the maintenance screen you can check out when you come see it.
I"m a big Toyota nerd and I know these are getting harder and harder to find with low miles. A lot of guys are using these for overland builds instead of buying 4Runners ,because they are just as capable and much more comfortable and quiet. Why buy one with a questionable past when you can buy mine which has been lovingly owned and maintained? She even has a name, we call her Big Blue.
I apologize for being too wordy in my description. I just wanted to describe thing to the best of my ability. Please feel free to ask any questions. The truck is currently parked in Allendale, NJ.
