Vehicle description
Selling my personal 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2. My father and i purchased this in 2016 at an auction in MA. Had just over 75,000 miles when it was purchased. This has been my Project car for all these years. I was an active member of the enthusiast forums online, & as such, this is a babied example of a Discovery, never driven in the rain or snow when i owned it. I followed all the service recommendations by the online forum members. Now has 79,400 miles.
Transmission Service and new filter in 2017. Differential & transfer case services every year. Rotella 15w-40 in the summer and Rotella 10w-30 in the winter every year. New head-gaskets at 77,000 miles. New Greasable driveshaft installed in 2017. New waterpump, radiator, hoses and coolant in 2019. 5 New All Terrain tires in 2020. Oil undercoating in 2020. Muffler delete,4 new 02 sensors, and aftermarket cat installed in 2020. New champion plugs and wires in 2021. New sway bar links and all tie rods in 2021.
*Does have some cosmetic wear around the emergency brake leather, a couple damaged trim pieces on the exterior as pictured a stain as pictured on the passenger side rear seat. *Engine wise it has a check engine light for the 02 sensors that comes and goes. *Rust wise a hole in the very rear of the frame as pictured where these can have rust (aside from that the frame is clean with surface rust, and id have no issue with a mechanic overlooking it and sending a video)
Runs and drives great, fun to drive. I love the truck but im going through a time where i have to invest all my available funds in an online business. Hence the sale. My goal is to put myself in the shoes of whoever is looking at this or in the market for an older land rover. I want to be as transparent as possible to help any one with questions about ownership of these fun, unique SUVs.
