Vehicle description

Hey all, selling my 2003 Disco 2, Zambezi Silver on black leather. It"s a 7 seater with rear A/C. Making room for my new Epsom 2004!
I"ll go through the basics and what has been done to the truck, it"s been extensively gone through!
So, basics. Runs and drives absolutely flawlessly, engine runs very smoothly with no weird noises or ticks. No overheating, and it never has in my ownership. Absolutely no lights on the dash, no 3 amigos, traction control and hill descent work perfectly. Transmission shifts very smoothly, I have towed with it but only our 2,500lb pontoon boat. It does have a tow hitch and electrical connector. There"s a few creaks and rattles over rougher roads, but most of the time it"s fairly quiet. I"ve had a couple Discos that sounded like the interior was going to fall apart when driving!
Paint is in really nice shape, front bumper has been replaced due to a crack. As for the rear bumper, there are no cracks at all. Headlights were professionally polished and clear coated when I had the bumper painted. Windshield appears to have been replaced at some point, and does not have any cracks or chips in it. There are not any major scratches or dents, however there is a small scrape that is not noticeable on the rear passenger side. I can send photos! A few door dings from parking lots over the past 18 years, again not noticeable. I bought this truck from a gentleman that frequented Florida, as so it seems as though it"s been mostly driven in the southern states as the roof does have a little bit of sun fading, see photo. The paint on the hood is in very nice shape and does not appear to have been repainted. I have polished the entire truck and done a ceramic wax. The wax lasts around 3-4 months before needing a new coat.
That being said, the truck was undercoated before my ownership, and has a nice shiny coating on it. No rust underneath of the truck, and no other rust that I"ve seen around the vehicle.
So, what was the extensive going through?
When I purchased the truck it was destined to be my co-daily driver alongside my L405 Range Rover, I went ahead and did several maintenance items on it.
Starting off. All fluids, transmission, power steering, differentials, and transfer case all received their fair share of their respective oils. Transmission resealed with new filter Spark plugs Spark plug wires Coil packs PCV valve cleaned 180F thermostat Air filter 1 Engine oil and filter with BG EPR And it was driven.
I noticed some oil leaks so it went for another round of updates
Head gaskets Heads remanufactured Serpentine belt Valley pan gasket Valve cover gaskets Intake manifold halves resealed Idle air control valve cleaned Upper radiator hose another 180F thermostat (old one opened at 190. ) Cruise control vacuum lines Engine vacuum lines Power steering pump Throttle body resealed Tie rod ends Drag bar Mass airflow sensor Injectors rebuilt Air filter 2 2 new catalytic converters 2 upstream o2 sensors New battery Exhaust manifold gaskets Exhaust manifold studs Air conditioning recharged with new o-rings Brake fluid flush Brake pads Coolant is the standard yellow, same stuff as the new Range Rover. 50/50 to -35 degrees
And that is what I can think of at the moment.
Now, it is 18 years old and does have a few downsides. Bumper cracker in 2017, I have photos date coded for when the incident happened, just a cracked bumper. Full transparency! I"ve gotten a Jeep wave TWICE! ! Very quiet, no V8 noise. Good for some poeple, not for me. I like some growl. Interior parking brake boot is worn, should be replaced. Rear step goes down, but does not return up, must be returned by hand. Small scrape on rear right. Roof is sun faded being a southern car. This comes with the perk of being rust free. Interior clock does not work, I do have a replacement! I removed the front license plate bracket, I do not run one. Not sure where the bracket went off to.
And I reckon that"s it.
I run premium only, mix of habit and the owner"s manual says to! BG 44k run through quarterly, to keep injectors healthy. If non-ethanol fuel is available I will use it.
I own 7 other Land Rovers from 1991 to 2018, these trucks are absolutely amazing to drive! I hope the new owner will enjoy it as much as I did!
Any questions shoot me a message, I would love to speak over the phone! I can send any other photos you"d like.
I can also assist with shipping the vehicle.
