Vehicle description
A beautiful, lifted Hummer H2.
This has been my daily driver and camping rig for 5 years.
I removed the air bag suspension system and replaced it with coil springs and a 3" lift kit. The shocks are longer and not with a height adapter. I put on 37 inch Mickey Thompson Baja tires, Moog pitman arm, and the large tie rods. You will need to be easy on the accelerator, but there is no death wobble. The freeway speed here is 80 MPH, and she does it well.
I had a glass pack muffler installed on it. All of the fluids have recently been changes. Not difficult with most vehicles. However, to access the transmission and transfer case, the skid plates and cage have to be removed for an H2.
The rear axle has an Eaton locker, from the factory. I installed an ARB locker with an air pump and tank on the front axle.
The Cobra CB has been built into the tower, so it will stay with the Hummer. She is old, but well loved. Not perfect new off the show floor shape. She has some wear and tear to her. Paint is in really nice shape. A couple areas that show she was used. I can provide better pictures as requested. The drivers side door has a crease in it (as shown by the picture) and passenger front side corner of the hood has a small chip. And a dent in the brush guard, passenger side. I have loved and used her for five years. I will not lie to you about any part of her. If you wish, you can call a local mechanic for an inspection. You will need to make plans for payment and I will drop it off. I will let you know, if I have used this mechanic in the past, so it will be unbiased. Mechanically she is great. I have pulled my 20 foot camp trailer, without issue.
Some upkeep: the standard, new battery (couple weeks ago), water pump, both rear door window regulators, rear door handle and starter a few years ago. I have done most of the work myself.
If you have an older suburban or crew cab that will pull a camp trailer, I will consider a partial trade. For more details, contact me.
Please ask any questions that you have. I can be reached by hitting the contact seller button or text me at 208-589-6470. I will respond as soon as possible. I do have it for sale locally, so this listing can end at any time. I am happy to assist in loading, if you arrange shipping.
