Vehicle description
I found what I would like to buy, and have dropped my price, to sell quickly.
2003 Hummer H2 rock crawler. A true beauty from a distance. She is 15 years old and has spent a lot of time camping and off roading.
I will consider trades, for a diesel or a big block gas off road vehicle. I go off roading and rock crawling. Dream would be Humvee/HMMWV with a 4 speed and CTIS. But, let me know what you have that will pull my camp trailer and crawl. Let me know what you have.
It is rare to find an H2 that’s built for extreme off roading. This is no street queen or mall crawler. I converted the rear air bag suspension to coils, with 3” pucks. Front is lifted with torsion keys. Hummer is unique, in that the drive train is tucked up between the frame. There is a skid plate and cage that protects the engine, transmission and transfer case. I put a glass pack on, to keep the muffler away from rocks.
I put large tie rods on, because of the poor history Of the GM front ends. 37” Mickey Thompson Baja’s. Because we crawl on the lava flow, there is rock rash. I still have, if they didn’t disappear, 5 stock 35” tires and 17” wheels. I think the spare tire is the original spare, BFG AT.
Front ARB air locker, with a 1 gallon air tank. This way you don’t have to run the air compressor continuously. Rear locker is the factor Eaton. There is no onboard air, to air tires back up.
9,500 lb Smittybilt winch, with synthetic line.
You can quickly remove the steps, to keep them from getting folded up under. The Cobra 29 LTD will stay, where it’s built into the dash.
I replaced all the fluids a couple weeks back.
I don’t know what happened before I bought it, there are two different lower A arms, on the front suspension. The brush guard is dented on the right side, with real fine paint and fiberglass cracks on the right side front of the hood.
The windshield is cracked and has a second large chip. I was going to replace the windshield. However, I just dropped the price, so the new owner will be responsible for it. It doesn"t interfere with my view, so I wasn"t worried about it.
I am not a body man. There are scrapes from tree branches. But, it doesn’t look like any are down the metal/fiberglass.
This is my daily driver, so the mileage will change.
My name is David, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. I have videos and more pictures, if you would like me to text or email Them. Please hit the “contact seller “ and I will get back to you, as soon as possible. If you have an iPhone, we can FaceTime, to answer any questions and you can see it real time. I would rather this doesn’t sell, than for someone to think I lied about it.
