Over 150 HD photos and a video is available to review at this URL: 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Vintique Motors This 467-mile example was sold new at Galpin Ford in North Hills, CA on 11/6/2002 for $39,021.43 and delivered with 9 miles per the original sales contract. It would spend the next 16 and a half years with the original owner until his passing and a family member from Hermosa Beach, CA took possession of it on 6/20/2019 in order to sell it. On 7/11/2019 it sold to a collector from Ward, AR with 464 miles in which we acquired it from him on 9/30/2021 and today presents with 467 miles. It is finished in Zinc Yellow over Dark Charcoal interior with two-tone Dark Charcoal Nudo leather with Medium Graphite suede insert seats. The SVT Cobra was offered fully equipped with an original MSRP of $34,750. In total Ford produced 19,140 ’03/’04 Cobras in both coupe and convertible forms. Zinc Yellow as only offered in 2003 in which 809 were produced; 490 coupes and 319 convertibles making this 2003 SVT Cobra coupe 1 of 490 produced in Zinc Yellow. It features a 32 valve DOHC 4.6L V8 with an Eaton M-112 supercharged with 8psi of boost that was infamously underrated by Ford at 390hp and 390 lb. ft. of torque as real figures are closer to 450-475hp. The SVT Cobra package also featured a Tremec T-56 6-speed manual with an aluminum flywheel, a 3.55 rear-end, and special body work designed by Camilo Pardo who was also the lead designer on the Ford GT program. These improvements enabled the Terminator to achieve 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds on its way to a 12.6 second 1/4 mile at 110mph. It has a terminal velocity of 180mph but from the factory the top speed is electronically limited to 153mph. This is truly an amazing opportunity to acquire an as-new 2003 SVT Cobra in one of the rarest colors that has been maintained as a cherished collectible since new. The only modification it has received is a Lo-Jack aftermarket alarm system.
