Vehicle description
Little background of the car, she was purchased last year of June 27th from a very kind owner who also garaged this sweet beauty. She came into my welcoming hands in just a few more days. She had stock everything, and got some very nice and tasteful mods done. Reason for selling is to get into something more practical such as a truck. But she has everything a 2000"s American car has, a big V8 paired with a fantastic exhaust = people breaking their necks to check this thing out on the road.
- 4.6 2V OHC engine producing 260 from the factory (300 estimated after modifications)
- Clean title
- 158xxx miles, but who"s counting?
Highlights of the car
- It has new fantastic looking Saleen SC Wheels, with no scratches or curb rash (very rare to find these days)
-It was repainted the factory color so the exterior looks great
-The tailpipes scream bald eagles upon start up and any revving what so ever
-Coilovers drop this thing from its factory lift kit down to a "Clean" stance. (Not ricey)
- The interior is in excellent condition considering the age of the car, no rips in the seat or dash.
-Transmission is freshly rebuilt giving you another 200k ready drive line + New fancy stage 2 clutch from Exedy.
The Rough spots
-The door has a small scrape from pulling into the garage
- The valve seals are getting worn out, and a shop quoted 500-800 ouch right? but lucky for you I have adjusted the price down about 700 dollars accordingly. and open to offers (just don"t embarrass the car) Lets all remember it is a 15 year old car and they need some love sometimes.
Nitty Gritty (maintenance parts and mods done to the car)
- SR cold air intake $100
- Nitto 315 555r drag radials in rear, 275 nitto 555 in front with Saleen SC wheels as mentioned earlier $1300
- Long tube headers, catless H pipe, Pypes Pype Bomb catbac. But wait! does not cats mean a check engine code? well glad you asked because it does not because I have a tuner which turns it off. (and makes more power) $1000
- Stage 2 clutch $250
-SR coilovers $750
-Rev x tuner with bama lifetime tunes
-New timing chains and tensioners and head bolts and gaskets ($500)
-New front brakes calipers rotors and pads $300
-New fan housing $100
-Rebuilt transmission 500$
Few other small things. (spark plugs, short antenna, front lip, hood pins, lower front ball joints)
So are you ready to tear down backroads and do Fat burnouts on Camaros of the same year? Oh wait they didn"t even make a 2003 Camaro. . But this car is for you, not the faint of heart. One more thing about this car, we don"t bother with miles per gallon, only smiles per gallon.
