with 82,000 miles Vin: 3D7KU28C83G821201 Truck was rust free, as it looks today, when I received it. In 10 years I put less than 3,000 miles a year. I only used it for work in good weather. Has been garaged kept since 2010. Only driven in snow and salt about 5 times. When it was, I hosed the entire truck and underneath with hot water before putting it back in my garage. Every time the truck was driven in the rain, it was completely dried in the garage. Oil changed religiously with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. Excellent fuel mileage for a large truck. Being a 2003 there are virtually no factory pollution devices on this very fuel efficient 5.9 Cummins Diesel engine. This compared to the newer pollution strangled 6.7 liter Cummins. I average about 17.5 mpg overall around town with little highway mix. I Did a recent test to compare my newly purchased 2012 Ram. At 66 mph, level 30 mile highway round trip, the 2003 got 23 mpg. By comparison the 2012 got 18. Truck runs quiet, strong and smooth with no rattles or issues. All accessories work as they should, including A/C. Transmission shifts perfectly. The Paint is shinny and not faded. There are minor imperfections as shown in the Google photos . The "Non Smoker" interior is clean and not worn or faded. There are photos with and without the seat covers that were on since 2003. For some reason the old seat covers look reddish but they don"t look like that in person. The photo of the rear seats removed is how I used the truck to carry my bagged expensive tools. There is also a photo of my tools stored on the truck bed shelves I made. Four facts make this an extremely RARE 2003 Dodge Ram. .
1. Driven less than 6500 miles/year.
2. Absolutely no undercarriage, frame or body rust, visible or hidden.
3. Six speed NV 5600 manual transmission. This generation had terrible Automatics.
4. Eight foot bed. Nobody wants them except me and you. That"s why they are so hard to find. It took me over a year to find the 2012 I just bought. All of the low mileage mint Laramie Rams are 6-1/2" beds. So much so that they now call the 6-1/2" bed a "Standard Bed". Admittedly there are more 2003 2500"s with an 8" bed than 2012"s. provides limited photos. .

The fuel gauge tells you when it"s time to change the fuel filters or other potential fuel issues. These gauges are extremely beneficial for providing critical information when traveling especially if hauling a heavy load. .
Wheels and Tires Five 315/70 R17 LRR (Low Roll Resistance) 34.5" tires mounted on Ultra aluminum 17x9 wheels. Tires have 50% tread remaining. Average 9/32 of an inch. NOTE: These oversized tires do not rub. .

This hitch creates a pivot pointless than one foot behind therear axle which totally eliminates trailer sway. Standard hitches have a pivot point of about 5 feet or more from axle. With this hitch you can tow the heaviest tag along trailers made with the ease and confidence of a fifth wheel trailer. BUT now you have the benefits of using the entire truck bed.
