Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes Inspected, yard drives, four wheel drive works. Videos Exterior For a Vermont Trailblazer, the body is pretty good! We purchased her back in December of 2014 with 157,000 miles and have had her since. Now, she would have a little over 200,000 (true mileage unknown because we had to buy an instrument cluster due to Chevys issue with stepper motors. This instrument cluster is professionally rebuilt and works great). She was last inspected October of last year, So she’s still inspected and has no lights/ error messages on the dash. Interior The interior has not been cleaned. I think she will clean well. The only thing that stands out for me is the power control unit on the drivers side is loose because a plastic piece broke (the unit still works the seat) and the plastic lock on the center consul doesn’t lock anymore (this is common on these models from what I hear). Engine Again, she has a bit more than 200,000 miles on her. She runs great, however the transmission is getting tired. She drives in drive till about 25/30 mph, then starts to slip. How I have gotten around this was put it in 2nd gear. This gets me up to 50 mph if needed, but I didn’t what to run too much with the higher rpms and drove on slower roads. My job however needs me to take the highway, so we decided to purchase a small truck that was newer. I will add a video showing the transmission still working in drive and reverse in our driveway. It was hard to pull her off the road because she’s been pretty nice to us. There are no error code lights on the dash. If she’s not worth repairing for someone, she certainly would give a Trailblazer owner a lot of nice parts! Deposits are nonrefundable. Created on the Motors app
