Vehicle description
I am selling my personal 2003 BMW X5 4.6is. This SUV ONLY has 88,870 miles. It has the rear DINAN exhaust and front DINAN strut tower brace installed. The SUV has a high flow air filter, Mid-muffler deleted with an X-pipe and has had an ACTIVE AUTOWERKE"s custom software tune downloaded in the car. More HP! The car has Lowering springs on the front and lowering guides on the rear Air suspension. ( I will include the matching Rear lowering springs in case you want to convert it) Always a NON-smoker. This one has all the options. Even the rear slide out tray. Both sides 10-way power seats. Front & Rear heated seats, Etc.
As you can see by the AutoCheck report, this SUV was first titled in CA by a collector who purchased 2 of them. One Red & one Black. In the first 6 Years he only put 2500 miles on it. A family from TX/OK purchased it to use as an extra driver. They had the SUV until we acquired it in 2015 with only 66K miles. At 68K miles we did a FULL 60K service with BMW parts performed by a 10 year BMW mechanic. I have changed the Oil and Filter every 3-3500 miles but did not reset the service light as to not get the BMW service system way off track. It was just reset it with this current oil change a few hundred miles ago. There are NO service or CEL lights on at all! There are only 2-3 pixels missing in the ODO. The rest are perfect.
We have fixed or replaced almost every wear item in the past year. Here is the LIST of the NEW items: 1. JUST finished the front timing cover seals! 10 hour job. (I have Pics.) Which included both New valve cover gaskets, Vanos gaskets and timing cover seal gaskets. We striped and painted the Valve covers in wrinkle semi-gloss Black. 2. COMPLETE new cooling system. NEW water pump, NEW radiator, New upper & lower hoses, NEW coolant sensor, NEW over flow tank & plastic tank tube and NEW Electric Auxiliary cooling fan. 3. NEW set of 8 coils. (New plugs at 68K miles) 4. NEW Castrol BMW Full Synthetic 5w-30 Oil & filter change at 88,300 miles. 5. A/C Serviced just 3 months ago. 6. NEW idler pulleys 7. NEW both the drive and A/C serpentine belts. 8. NEW Brakes front & rear. Both Pads, Rotors & sensors replaced.
The Factory 20" BMW wheels are Matte Bronze with Pirelli PZero tires both front & rear with 40-45% tread remaining. Of course this SUV is not perfect. It is a 15 year old car. It has the usual front rock chips mainly on the front of the hood. They can be touched up. I did just have most the small dents PDR removed a few months ago. The front windshield had a crack at the top by the rearview mirror when we bought it. It has been professionally sealed and I have never has an issue with it. It is not in the view of the driver or passenger. Prior to my purchase it appears the driver front corner got hit/backed into maybe in a parking lot. The headlight & fender were replaced and the minor damage to the hood was fixed and repainted.
PLEASE ask any questions before bidding! I will gladly speak to any SERIOUS buyer in detail about the SUV. Look at my Feedback! Regards, Jay
