Vehicle description
Beautiful and rare (1 of 4 worldwide) Solent Silver color with light and dark grey interior. The color can appear to be silver with a light blue tint or light blue with a silver tint. Sticker price on the car was $247,600 with the following options: rear parking sensors, red calipers, body color center console, homelink, heated windshield, front stoneguards, sat.navigation, 2+2 seating I found this car for my father back in 2007 with about 19,000 miles. He owned it for about a year and then sold it to my brother who had it for about 10 years who then sold it to me. I have all service records since 2007. When I purchased the car it was at the Aston dealer receiving a new windshield covered under insurance and was in need of the updated shifting sensors. I had them replaced with the updated Vanquish S magnetic sensors as well as the updated Vanquish S clutch pack even though there was still plenty of life left in the original clutch. They also fixed the reverse button which was engaging intermittently. After the car was shipped to me, I put on new Michelin Pilot Sports and new brakes. It has been a great car without any issues except I had to replace the battery about 6 months ago. I also disconnected and plugged the vacuum solenoids on the exhaust to bypass the "quiet mode" of the lower RPM range. Very easy to reconnect although I don"t see why anyone would want to muffle the wonderful noise that the V12 makes. Although the car is 18 years old with 30,000 miles, it is in wonderful shape. The paint looks great but there are some blemishes and the front bumper and grill are a little salt and peppered from road debris. The rims do not have any curb rash although they could use a refinish. There is some staining and etching from brake dust etc. . The interior is very nice with no rips or tears. The car has never thrown any OBD faults or codes during my ownership. 4 years of ownership is the longest I have ever owned a "toy" and I have had many. I am not in position to store or own multiple toys so I need to let this go in order to try something new. This car is great for an owner that wants to experience a V12 Vanquish and actually drive it and enjoy it. When people see it a Cars and Coffee or other car events, they can"t believe it is almost 20 years old. With the updated Vanquish S clutch and sensors you should be good to go for another 50,000 miles. Under my ownership, the car has never been driven in Auto mode, only sport mode with the paddles.
