Vehicle description
Breaking up my car collection and selling some of the rarest Aston Martins on the planet.
The following is a 1-of-1 show car. Made by AML specifically for the 2003 LA Auto Show. The car is an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante.
The car has every option unlike previous LA Show cars, yet still had traditional styling and not the new grills or wheels found on other models in 2003. "brand new" two-tone interior and exterior color. (This is a truly 1-of-1 car and nicely illustrates some of the history and development of the DB7)
Please note this car is historically important to Aston Martin since the 2003 LA Auto Show was the World debut of the DB AR1, and this very car was made to be exhibited with #1 of 99 of the DB AR1"s. - I will attach some pictures from the 2003 show.
This car is not your standard DB7 and I am in no need to sell quickly. I am looking for more toys, interests and potential part exchanges would include, track-day cars, planes or anything handmade in England.
Title in hand. No joy rides.
Further info:
Car has a naturally aspirated hand made V12, delivering 420bhp when new. The car was hand made in Newport Pagnell, UK in the Aston Martin factory. 2003 was the 10th year of production of the DB7 and also the year that Ford decided to cut production of the DB7. (All later DB models were made in the Ford factory and the original Newport Pagnell factories were closed, so this is truly one of the last hand made Astons you can buy).
The car is equipped with the ZF 5HP30 five speed automatic gearbox as standard. With a top speed of 186mph (manuals could only every reach 155mph). This car also has F1 style gear selector buttons on the steering wheel that work perfectly, and won"t make you sea sick like other Aston Models
This is a collectable car that would look great in any collection and a bargain since base models of this car retailed from $170k 15 years ago
