Vehicle description
This is a very rare find! 5.3 liter two wheel drive 2 owner Cadillac Escalade. My truck has all original paint and interior that is like new. It just turned 22k miles. Yes it really has 22k original miles, has never been in an accident or had any paint work done. It is mechanically perfect with no leaks or issues of any kind. Then again, what do you expect with only 22,000 miles!?
It has a fully custom fabricated one off air ride suspension set up. This set up was built using bags in the front, not air struts/sleeves that you will see on most of the Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade air ride jobs. This set up was specifically designed for this exact SUV and all metal structured components in the front have been made from scratch(except for the DJM control arms which were completely modified). All fabrication work was done using cold forged steel. All welds are top notch and the work done is the best of the best.
This custom build has fabricated mounts to secure the air bags to the frame, custom front 3 link control arms, a bolt-in truss that links the two mounts together across the top of the engine, custom anti sway and pan hard bar, etc. . The rear is notched, with a bag over axle set up and reinforced bag perches. Bag over axle is best for towing so this truck can easily tow 7,000 pounds with this set up if need be. This system is using 1/2" valves, 1/2" lines, 2 tanks, 2 compressors and 6 switches. It is all wired into a dual breaker switch so no having to worry about blowing fuses.
This is a very fast air ride set up. It fully inflates the bags and puts the truck to full ride height within less than a second. It drops the truck within an inch of the ground in half a second. This air ride set up cost over $15,000 alone and is just as reliable as the day it was built.
This Escalade can be used for daily driving and towing with no issues being as it was fully reinforced in every way possible. This is one of the most advanced and reliable air suspension installs around. It is rare to find a shop that does set ups like this now days. Everything is very easy to maintain being as all of the hard work has been done. There is no body panel shifting or flexing at all. You won"t find a bagged build this well done on a 2002-2006 Escalade, Tahoe, Yukon or Denali anywhere.
I just recently had all 4 slam specialty bags replaced and the entire set up gone through/inspected by an air ride specialist being as I am selling it. I like my vehicles to be 100% before I pass them on to anyone. The air lines, compressors and valves were replaced within the last few years. It sits on brand new 24" U2 chrome rims with 295 35 24 tires, a trenz billet grill, led headlights, flowmaster custom exhaust & a K&N drop in filter. The truck also has interior glow which illuminates the driver, passenger, front/rear floor boards as well as the trunk area in a soft blue.
For audio it has a Pioneer DVD/CD/Bluetooth double din touchscreen deck with the factory BOSE amps and volume controls fully functional, a kicker 1,200 watt amp, 0 guage wiring, a 1,000 watt Kicker L7 square 12" sub in a Kicker custom slot vented box made for this sub, an AGM high performance battery and much more. This sound system is very loud with tons of clarity.
This truck looks, drives, smells and rides like new! ! In fact it recently had full paint correction performed as well as multiple layers of ceramic coating done. This process took my professional detailer 34 hours to perform and cost me $3,000. This is a 10 year minimum protection coat. It has a 10 year warranty and if garaged like it has been will last at least 15 years before having to add another few coats.
There is no damage to the fenders, body kit cladding"s, bumpers or undercarriage. This Escalade does not lay frame(it is close) but does lay on the 24"s very nicely without any issues. It does not rub. It was used as an occasional driver and was taken to car shows.
This is what you call a true survivor that has never been abused. Older low rider builds like this are very rare to find in like new condition. Especially ones that are very simple and tastefully done like mine. I will only sell my Escalade to someone meticulous who will take care of it like it has been.
I was planning on keeping her for at least 20 more years but I am buying an RV. The price is very fair. Good things aren"t cheap and cheap things are rarely ever good!
