Vehicle description
This is a very, very, very , very , very rare find! ! ! 5.3 liter two wheel drive 1 owner Cadillac Escalade. My truck has all original paint and interior that is like new. It just turned 22k miles. Yes it really has 22k original miles and has never been in an accident.
It has a fully custom fabricated air ride suspension set up. This set up was built before they made a kit for the Escalade that takes place of the front springs and shock tower. All fabrication work was done using cold forged steel. All welds are top notch. The work done is the best of the best of the best.
This custom build has fabricated mounts to secure the air bags to the frame, custom upper and lower 3 link control arms, a bolt-in truss that links the two mounts together across the top of the engine, custom anti sway and pan hard bar, etc. . The rear is a 3 link set up, with a rear notch and reinforced rear bag perch set up. This system is using 1/2" valves with 1/2" lines, 2 tanks, 2 compressors and 6 switches.
This is a very fast air ride set up. It fully inflates the bags and puts the truck to full ride height within a second. It drops the truck within an inch of the ground in half a second. I wouldn"t suggest nitrogen but if you wanted to use it, this is the Escalade that can handle it. This set up cost $20,000 and is just as reliable as the day it was built.
This Escalade can be used for daily driving and towing with no issues being as it was fully reinforced in every way possible. This is one of the most advanced and reliable air suspension installs around. It is rare to find a shop that does set ups like this now days. Everything is very easy to maintain being as all of the hard work has been done.
It has had the bags, air lines and valves replaced once within the last 8 years. It sits on brand new 24" U2 AC55 chrome rims with 295 35 24 tires, a trenz billet grill, led headlights, flowmaster custom exhaust, K&N smog legal intake, a Pioneer DVD/CD/Bluetooth double din touchscreen deck with the factory BOSE amps and volume controls fully functional, a kicker 1,200 watt amp, 4 guage wiring, a 1,000 watt Kicker L7R square 12" sub in a Kicker custom slot vented box made for this sub and much more. This sound system is very loud with tons of clarity.
This truck looks, drives, smells and rides like new! ! In fact it recently had full paint correction performed as well as multiple layers of ceramic coating done. This process took my professional detailer 34 hours to perform and cost me $3,000. This is a 10 year minimum protection coat. It has a 10 year warranty and if garaged like it has been will last at least 15 years before having to add another few coats.
There is no damage to the fenders, body kit claddings, bumpers or undercarriage. This Escalade does not lay frame(it is close) but does lay on the 24"s very nicely without any issues. It does not rub. It was used as an occasional driver and was taken to car shows. This is what you call a true survivor that has never passed hands or been abused. Old school builds like this are very rare to find in like new condition. This truck really needs to be sold to a lifer. Someone who will keep it up for the next 40 years.
I was planning on keeping my baby for at least another 20 years but I am considering buying a new travel trailer for cash. If I don"t sell it for my asking price, then oh F* king well. I will just put my 700hp Mustang up for sale. This is my favorite vehicle out of the 5 custom ones that I own.
The pictures of the three vehicles below the Escalade are other custom builds I have done and are vehicles I currently own. I posted them just so you can see that I know what I am doing, am very, very, very picky and that I don"t cut corners. The 1997 Corvette you see in the pictures is also listed on ebay for sale.
