Well, its finally time. I"m pretty bored of the car by now (owner for the last 5+ years) and just want to hop into something else. NOT looking for trades so please do not ask.
I"ll try to make this as short as possible, but there"s a lot of info. The car has been my daily driver, and the goal was a fun, reliable vehicle that can take anything the winter can throw at it. I am the second owner of the vehicle, the first owner purchased the vehicle on 02/11/2004 in PA at Rafferty Subaru (I have all the original paperwork and receipts from this owner). I purchased the vehicle on 10/31/2014 at 148,117 miles. In the last 30k miles, almost the ENTIRE car has been reworked in some shape or form to either OEM specs or better. All maintenance items, fluids, etc. are brand new. Just got it inspected recently, its good for another 2 years. A list of things off the top of my head. .
-Fresh rebuilt motor put in at 148,000 miles -New 5 Speed trans put in at 175,000 miles -Every fluid changed (Power steering and all 3 diff fluids OEM subaru, Oil is Mobil 1, clutch and brakes are Motul 5.1, coolant is. . coolant.) -Full tuneup (Fuel filter, plugs, coil packs, filters etc.) -New timing belt, thermostat, water pump, cam gears, tensioners and idlers as well as cam seals -All hoses and most gaskets, again all OEM -All wheel bearings, ball joints etc. -Struts and Shocks (KYB Acel"s) -All rotors (centric/brembo), pads (Stoptech), calipers all around (Remans), SS lines -Both front axles -Down/up stream exhaust sensors -Replaced most of the ABS system -Most bushings.
The list can go on forever essentially, i"m missing a lot on there. Now, onto the mods.
- ENGINE - 9/10 shape -Ported and polished upper manifold, TGV Delete -Perrin turbo inlet tube -04-07 STI Topmount, thermal shielding applied -15+ STI VF48 Turbo, red blanket -GS 3-Port EBCS -Dual core upgraded radiator -EGR Delete -A/O Seperator -Walbro 255lph Fuel pump -JDM STI Pink injectors -STI Group-N upgraded dog bone engine mount -STI Group-N upgraded motor mounts
- TRANSMISSION - 9/10 shape -Lightweight flywheel -Exedy Stage 1 clutch, TOB etc. -All whiteline shifter bushings -New linkage and axis bushings -STI Group-N upgraded Trans mount -Hydraulic Clutch SS line
- SUSPENSION - 9/10 shape -KYB Acel Gr-2 All corners -Eibach Adjustable rear sway bar -Eibach upgraded metal sway bar links and bushings -Eibach front swaybar bushings -STI Group-N upgraded strut/shock mounts, front and back -04 STI OEM BBS Wheels with Summers on them (Rare), 02 WRX OEM Stock wheels with winters on them
- ELECTRONICS - 10/10 shape -COBB AP V3 -Tuned by MKTuned, 93 pump gas, right under 300wheel on VDyno -All new pioneer speakers in every door, tweeters, 10" Basslink sub, Pioneer double din headunit -04-07 STI Intercooler sprayer, wired to OEM Subaru specs (full system take out) -Custom heated windshield and heated mirrors, custom harness, JDM convex side mirror, all OEM (Windshield alone is $800+, 02-03 imprezas could NOT get the winter package in USA, YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER BUG WITH THIS, PERIOD) -Custom headlights (Full D2S 4.0 *tuned* Projector HID system, painted gloss black/candy gold, switchback strips/rings) -Custom fog lights (Bowls painted candy gold, 3000k bulbs, clear lens) -All other lights in the car have been upgraded to LED, inside and out. Even replaced every bulb in the center console and gauge cluster, every switch, glove box. . etc. -Hard wired USB, Micro USB and Ipod connector into center arm rest
- EXTERIOR - 7/10 shape -04-07 STI OEM side skirts -04-07 STI OEM wing -Vortex generator -04-05 STI OEM Tail lights -02-03 WRX Clear side markers -Custom Fog light covers -JDM V7 STI front lip -Dual hella horns

I am missing a ton of things, as nearly everything has been replaced or upgraded in some way, with anti-seize applied to virtually everything (You will thank me one day for this). I have receipts for almost everything dating back to 2004 in a folder as thick as your arm (Even the original sale receipt to the 1st owner). Most of it is all OEM from my local subaru that I used to work for. A majority of the parts were replaced not due to being broken, but because I believe in preemptive maintenance to a extreme level, which is part of why i"m bored with the car. . there"s not much to do to it anymore.
Now, for some of the bad things. Most are not an issue, merely just a bother but I want to disclose everything fully. -Lightweight flywheel chatters on decel (Call any subaru shop, very common. Nothing bad, just an annoying sound) -The exterior paint is in good shape except for on the drivers quarter and door, a handful of dents here and there, a few scratches, and the oh so lovely quarter rust, etc. Pretty much everything you would expect from a daily driven car from 17 years ago. -AC Compressor pulley started to make a bit of a squeak, so I took the belt off to not wear it out. Still works totally fine if you re install the belt (which I can do if you would like, its in the trunk), I never used the AC in my vehicles to care enough. -Both the summer setup and the winter setup have I would say one more season on them, so good for one more season each. *UPDATE - The summer setup is getting pretty low now, reduced the price to reflect this (New tires + mount/align) and doubled it.
That"s about it. The car is very raw, makes tons of noises, and is stiff (In a good way). Do not come to look at this car if your"e expecting a quiet, comfy 2015 WRX, this is not the car for you. If this is your first subaru, do some research before asking a question. These cars rattle, they all have rust, the engine constantly sounds weird because of the unequal length headers on the boxer motor, etc. If you do not know how to drive a manual, I will gladly teach you AFTER you purchase the vehicle. Test drives only with proof of funds - no exceptions. You will get all the spare parts, extra sets of wheels and tires, etc. I am looking for $9,000 FIRM, I will decline even $8,999.99, yes im that stubborn. If you can find another 02 WRX in WRB with all of the options and receipts that this one has for a better deal that is not leaking every fluid and beat to death with a OTS tune, be my guest. If there is something I missed however, please feel free to ask even though im pretty sure I covered everything. Thanks for looking!
