2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Manual 5 Speed - 130k miles The time has come to sell my 2002 WRX. I bought another car and no longer have the time or space to work on this one. The car has run very well for me as a daily driver and with basic maintenance should last many more miles to come. As far as I am aware there are no pressing issues that need attention on the car, nor are any codes being thrown. I"ve only installed quality aftermarket parts; no "no-name" knockoffs. The car is flashed with a Stage 2 OTS map from Cobb (I believe it is the 93 oct. one) and sale includes the Accessport. The car has nearly a full exhaust system: Grimmspeed crosspipe, uppipe, limited divorced downpipe, and Invidia N1 street catback. The Grimmspeed exhaust components are all ceramic coated. I have also had replacement Tokico D-Spec struts and King rally springs installed a few months ago. New suspension mounts, rubber isolators, dust boots and bump stops were also installed. The struts are single-adjustable, and give a lot of cornering stability. Adding a set of anti-roll bars and Subaru 4-pot brakes or the STI brembo brakes, would give you a very capable trackday or autocross setup. The radiator and lower radiator support were replaced at the same time as the struts, with a replacement Koyo aluminum radiator being installed with Grimmspeed radiator hoses. The car has very low rust for it"s age, the majority of it is surface rust on the underbody. The front "U-brace" is rusted, which is a very common issue for this model at this mileage. There is a minor rust spot near the front windshield on the roof. I just changed the oil, on a schedule of 3500 mile intervals with Redline full synthetic oil. The car has a Fumoto oil drain valve installed which makes oil changes extremely easy and mess-free. The clutch was replaced about 20k miles ago with a South Bend clutch and ACT Streetlight flywheel. The transmission crossbrace was replaced, a Group N transmission mount added and Kartboy subframe bushings installed. The shifter has been replaced with a Kartboy short shifter topped with a Raeseng Circuit Sphere 100 knob, and all the associated bushings replaced with the Turn In Concepts 5MT linkage update installed to eliminate the typical slop in the Subaru shifters. The starter motor was replaced with an OEM unit last year. The car is in a good state to continue driving as is; or with a fuel pump, STI injectors and intercooler, could put on a 20g or 18g turbo for even more power and a very streetable setup.
