I bought this perfect little manual transmission Forester off a senior woman in central PA. She was the first owner. She kept it in a garage full time and during her 14 years with this wonderful wagon, she almost exclusively used it for grocery store trips. Not much else.
Had 57k miles on it when I bought it, barely saw the light of day.
I"ve put a bit more mileage on it than she did, but I have babied this car like it is a living, breathing being.
The interior is immaculate. No smoking. No eating. No stains. I"m very serious about my car. There has barely been a human being in the back seat. Come see for yourself.
Exterior is amazing but I have less control over that so. . a little more wear and tear but really. . it"s immaculate for it"s age.
There is a corner panel ding featured in the photos. This is from the previous owner knocking into a pole. It"s not terrible, and has been there since before I owned it. The rust on that mark has not evolved a smidgen since it has been in my possession.
It has a full time parking spot in Brooklyn so it"s been spared the hell that is existing in here. Very, very taken care of.
I have diligently changed the oil every ~3k miles. I"ve driven it like it"s the last car I"ll ever own. Tires have a few thousand miles on them. Also in great shape. No check engine light. Ever. I put a 3rd party stereo in but kept the old one if you want the classic Subaru tape deck. Other than that, everything that it came with when it was fresh off the lot has been treated with the utmost care and is still like new. No wrecks. Check the carfax. Clean title.
This car is a dream. I am selling it because my wife finally got a job after many years in a PhD program and thought we deserved a new car, so we own a 2016 Crosstrek. It was an impulsive splurge and we are semi-idiots for not driving this car until the wheels fall off. I"m not paying insurance and parking on two cars in the city so I"m saying goodbye because I"m petty and the new car sure is nice to drive. Come get it so I can stop paying off two insurance premiums. I"ll show you the new Crosstrek I just replaced it with.
Also, I"m truly 2nd owner on it. On paper I"m the third as the woman who I bought it from transferred it to her son so she wouldn"t have to deal with sellers herself.
This car will be good to you for many years.
