Up for auction is a beautiful 996tt with AMG paddle shifters on a carbon fiber/alcantara Porsche steering wheel. It"s incredibly fast when you’re boosting through the gears, dare I say it’s even a bit fun. This example has been very well maintained and it’s sure to be a future classic since the 996 turbo was a radical shift in a new direction for Porsche. It was a monstrosity, a water cooled abhorrent 911 turbo, and the first of it"s kind in a swift maneuver from air cooled to water cooled high performance road cars. It"s an absolutely brilliant platform and will live on as the infamous "mezger 911 turbo” road car. This was not a race car built for the track, it is a Porsche 911 Turbo purpose built for street and everyday driving. It has been well maintained and lovingly modified over the years. It’s truly a wonderful car but now I’m downsizing my garage. My loss is your gain scenario at it’s finest because I have to quickly sell the car.
