Selling my 2002 Slate Grey 996 4S. Most of the 996"s you see are Seal Grey, while still a good color, I think the Slate is much better. It is darker and really shows off the body lines with the metallic fleck. That and the fact that you don"t see many of them.
I took these pictures today and as you can see we have had quite a bit of snow here in the northeast (as has most of the country). Some of the water iced up before I could dry it so you may notice some in the pictures. If you need any other pictures just let me know. I won"t be able to drive the car until probably next week when it warms up and we get some rain to wash the salt off the roads. I will take some driving videos hopefully next week.
I purchased this car around a year ago from an older gentlemen in Westchester, NY. He had a collection of over 20 cars in a heated garage. He had no record of the IMS and it was on my to-do list, but it has not been done yet. I sent out the oil to Blackstone for analysis when I did the first oil change and there was no sign of any metal. At that point I didn"t think it was imperative that it be done right away. I drive it so little that it never really bothered me. I do have the LN Engineering kit ($799.00) still in the box that I purchased a couple months ago. I was quoted 10 hours by the shop I use to get it done. The car was completely stock when I purchased it at 46,400 miles. Around 400 miles ago I added coilovers and the grey side marker lenses, and Fister D mufflers. The car will come with the OEM suspension and side markers or if you wanted I could re-install and get aligned prior to purchase.
I feel I am pricing it appropriately for what I am seeing in the market. It is a rare color and on the lower side of miles.
Reach out with any questions.
Thank you!
Chris
