Offered here is a rare find: a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTX Ram Air Coupe 2 Door. That"s right, a GTX , not the more common "GTP". The GTX was built by SLP and offered a 3.8L Supercharged V6 engine with 260 horsepower and front-wheel drive. Noteworthy features include a functioning Ram Air Hood, Power Sunroof, Heads Up Display, and Heated Driver Seat, and Dual Exhaust with Quad Tips. This is a pretty unique car and definitely worthy of car for any Pontiac collector or enthusiast.
Production numbers are hard to find but here"s what we gathered from a Pontiac Forum: Unlike the Camaro SS and Firebird, the Grand Prix GTX was NEVER a factory option. It is an aftermarket package that could be financed with a new Grand Prix purchase, but was completed at a regional SLP facility and shipped back to the dealership for distribution to the purchaser. From 1997-2002, SLP GTX package:

Functional composite RAM AIR hood with twin scoops

ABOUT THIS CAR; Originally Sold at just under $29,000 through Pontiac we are the third owners and had only driven the car for just over a 1000 miles as we are Pontiac enthusiast and used it locally to attend car shows. The paint on the car is probably a 7 out of 10 thought the body is still in excellent shape as it has seen little if any winter driving. The factory Stereo has been replaced with a Pioneer System including Subs and Amp (very loud) This was professionally installed locally prior to our purchase. The car runs good and strong. Steering is tight and the car performs well in both the city and the interstate. New Headlights
The BAD; Key and Shifter need assistance when removing or putting into gear. Front Bumper has light body damage. I do have a factory replacement for it. AC may need to be recharged. Paint its good but may require attention to be perfect. NONE of this effects the cars operation and can be easily repaired. (possibly before delivery *extra cost, contact me and we can talk).
