Vehicle description
02 Maserati cambiocorsa coupe.
A well maintained, well documented, non smoker, predecessor to the Gran Turismo model we currently know.
If getting into a trident laden coupe is something you have been on the fence about, this is a great example to get your feet wet with. With comprehensive maintenance history and a ride that feels solid, tight and responsive, you"ve got it all.
If you are familiar with Maserati ownership, you know very well this will check all of the important boxes.
The clutch was replaced at 24,000 miles, and still shows 63% remaining on the most recent diagnosis worksheet at 38,000.
A total of $8038.18 was spent on the steering rack at 24k as well.
Along with the most recent service being a complete A/C service with new compressor.
The coupe corsa has great rubber, great brakes, no vibration or pulling when applied. Slotted and drilled rotors. Factory wheels, with a fair bit of rash as pictured. At this point I do not know if a new set/aftermarket would help or hurt the value, so I chose to leave well enough alone.
The paint reflects and shows well, with some scuffs and rotary marks on the truck, hopefully it shows in the pictures, and a small dent below the fuel door. It appears someone tried to buff it out, with no success.
The motor is free of any noises, squeaks, leaks or knocks. The 4.2 Ferrari sourced motor is very very responsive and sounds and appears very healthy! No smoking or choking!
The F1 transmission, has the manual paddles, with an automatic mode. For those not familiar, this is a single clutch manual transmission, without a clutch pedal. The healthiest (and most thrilling) way to work the car is to utilize the paddles to select gears. There is an automatic mode that works as it should. Though it will decrease the life of your clutch, and is pretty well just a boring way to get somewhere. The clutch has alot of life left as it sits and should add up to much trouble free driving.
Though the buttons on the dash are sticky, and it appears someone had an inexperienced DIY moment and rubbed the finish clear off a few pictured buttons, They do all function as they should. The sport mode works, and allows the exhaust to breath better and stiffens up the suspension as it should.
The traction control off button works as it should as well.
I have just installed a new battery, so you can just turn the key and enjoy, without any troubles.
The power driver seat did stop working, you can hear the switches working, so the motors may need replaced. I tried to get this done, but all the shops in my area are pretty well backed up until 2018. So I will be selling it as it sits :) I am 5"9" and have a pretty comfortable position if I you must endure for a while. Though it does sit a bit too upright, I still don"t have to think too hard about weather or not I want to drive it. Feel free to ask any questions. All books and paperwork will go with the car. I have 3 keys, both FOB keys work as they should.
$1000 deposit will be required
Can also arrange shipping if needed.
