I bought this 2002 Jeep Wrangler x from a new car dealership I do regular business with where it came in on trade on a brand new suv. They called me to come buy it as they know I deal with jeep wranglers pretty regularly and appreciate the clean taken care of jeeps. I bought it and drove it home around 4 hours or so. Really impressed by this jeep overall condition wise and handling /mechanical wise.
Cosmetically this jeep is very clean for the year and very solid. The body looks good all the way around rust wise (watch the video to appreciate it but also see the minor common for the age small ding on the pass. fender edge, minor imperfections etc) It is missing a side marker lens. The interior looks really solid taken care of. The driver side seat had a tear starting along the seam. Passenger side and rear seat look really good. No signs of smoke use I can detect. The floors look solid as well. The frame is really solid and I did not see any rust issues. cab mounts looks good. watch the video as I spent a lot of time around, under and inside the jeep and it does a great job showing it for what it is.
This jeep rides very nice . The 5 spd manual trans shifts all gears like it should and the 4x4 is working like it should. The 6 cyl inline 4.0 enigne runs strong. The AC is blowing ice cold. When I bought it and videoed it the middle knob to control the temp was missing, I since replaced it. Radio plays great. The Tires looks very good with deep tred and the soft top fits like it should. It was pretty quiet as well driving. The rear door opens and shuts nice. I bought the jeep with 194k actual miles but the gas gauge and temp gauges were not working so I replaced it with a new cluster that solved the problem. The miles showing are 141k. I am selling it miles unknown/ exempt as it is over ten years old. This is a jeep you can win , fly here and drive it home or hire a shipper feeling great about what you bought. definitely one of the better driving jeeps I have had in a while. Clean and clear title ready to go. I Do not want to over call it or under call it, let the pictures and video tell the story . call me with questions 563 568 1186 or 5111!
