Vehicle description
I bought the Jag 5 years ago from a California Jaguar dealer that had listed it on . I have driven about 20K miles, mostly highway. I recently married and we have too many vehicles for the garage so I am selling the Jag. The car is in great condition and has always been maintained. I kept up with all maintenance and I believe the previous owner did as well based on, soon after I got the car, I took it to the local Jaguar dealer for a complete inspection. All they found that needed work were the motor mounts, which were OK but "should be replaced". So I had them replaced. This confirmed that the car had been maintained throughout its life, as I was told by the selling dealer. The only issue was that soon after I bought the car I slipped off the road while driving around a corner, due to a combination of rain and mud, and I hit a mailbox by the side of the road. I had the car towed in case there was damage but there was none except for a dented front quarter panel that I had replaced. Everything works except one of the back-up sensors is broken but I have the replacement part. As can be seen in the pictures, the Jag is in great shape inside and out with the exception of a dent above the badge on the right front quarter panel (see pic, it is hard to show in a photo). I backed into the car while parking my motorcycle. I always kept it in the garage, and based on the condition inside and out, the previous owner also had it garaged. Like every car, parts needed replacing. The list includes: 4 Tires with under 4K miles on them (Continental Extreme Contact+). Also replaced were: Battery, Motor Mounts, Strut mount, Sway bar bushings, Power steering pump, Tie rod end ball joints, Fuel Pumps (it has 2), and Oxygen sensor. Car came with chrome rims that began to peal so I replaced them all with the same Jaguar rims except painted not chromed. A little about the car: It has Memory control for 2 drivers controlling: The Power driver and passenger seats, Power adjustable front head restraints, Power and Heated door mirrors, Power Telescoping and Tilting steering wheel. The car has RWD, Navigation System, 9 Speakers, AM/FM Premium Stereo w/Cass & 6 CD Changer, AM/FM radio, Radio data system, Air Conditioning with Automatic Temperature Control, Rear window defroster, Power windows, Power steering, Steering wheel mounted audio controls, Adaptive suspension, Four wheel independent suspension, Speed-sensing steering, Traction control, ABS brakes, Dual front impact airbags, Dual front side impact airbags, Occupant sensing airbag, Electronic Stability Control, Sport mode, Front and rear Fog lights, Fully automatic headlights, Headlight cleaning, Panic alarm, Security system, Cruise control, Body side moldings, Body-color bumpers, Trunk edge Spoiler, Auto tilt-away steering wheel, Auto-dimming Rear-View mirror, Driver and passenger door bin, vanity mirror, reading lights, Garage door transmitter, Genuine wood console insert, Genuine wood dashboard insert, Illuminated entry, Outside temperature display, Overhead console, Tachometer, Trip computer, Front Bucket Seats, Front Center Armrest, Heated Front Bucket Seats, Leather Seat Trim, Rain sensing and Variable intermittent wipers. The car comes with the original manuals in their leather carrying cases and 2 sets of keys. This is a great Jaguar XKR’s with very low millage and in great condition. It is ready to be driven home but if you wish, I will help with shipping. I have been as thorough as I can be in describing the car but if you have any questions please contact me. I am listing the car locally and will remove the auction if it sells and there are no bids.
