About this vehicle This 2002 Jaguar XJ8 is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows. Vehicle Details Up for auction is my beautifu,l super low mileage black on black 2002 Jaguar XJ8. This car only has 26,417 original miles on it! Possibly one of the lowest mileage Jags of this vintage around. It has been garaged and babied its entire life and has never seen bad weather. It is powered by a smooth as silk 4.0litre V8 engine that runs beautifully! It has incredibly comfortable luxurious black leather seats with gray piping. Tons of beautiful real wood trim throughout. Has the wonderful factory Alpine stereo system with the optional 10 disc CD changer in the trunk. All power options work perfectly, including all windows, door locks, sunroof, memory seats, memory steering wheel and power antenna. The A/C blows ICE cold! The extra plush floormats are by Lloyd's mats and have Jaguar embroidered in them. The original black mats are included. The car currently sports a beautiful flawless set of 16" chrome Dayton wire wheels with Jaguar center caps. The wheels give the car the true vintage Jaguar look and really set the car off. The tires are brand new, they were just put on last summer and have less than 400 miles on them. The factory rims with like new tires are also included with the car. The factory rims are flawless as well. I just like the look of the wire wheels better. The paint on this car is beautiful and deep. There is a beautiful metallic flake in the paint that pictures can't do justice. The body is incredibly straight and free of dents and dings. The fit and finish of the body panels is fantastic. The doors close smoothly and effortlessly. The undercarriage of the car is spotless. It has never been driven in winter and rarely ever seen a drop of rain. The only flaw on the car is a scrape on the driver's side corner of the back bumper. I tried to include a photo of the area. It is slightly bigger than my thumb. The spot is not visible unless you know it is there. But I want to point out the flaw. But this is the only one you will find on the car. It is seriously gorgeous. Also included in the sale of the car will be all of the user manuals, a large dealer sales brochure, 2 sets of keys and key fobs, the factory rims, and a special order heavy duty custom fit car cover that cost over $400! This was the second to last year for this body style and truly when they perfected the design. It has all the looks of the Jaguars of the 1960's and 70's with its retro styled headlights and body styling but with all of the modern technology and power of a modern car. I purchased this car from a friend of mine who was a Jaguar collector and owned this car as part of his collection since 2012. It is a stunning car in amazing shape. It gets compliments and thumbs up everywhere I take it. It has won a few awards at car shows as well. Truly a beautiful car and the last of the true Jaguars. Thanks for looking!
