Vehicle description
Vehicle Details I am selling my 2002 Focus SVT with only 5,900 original miles! I am the second owner of the car with a CLEAN title in hand. When I bought the car, it had front end damage and didn't start BUT there was no report of it in its CARFAX history. The first owner said he never filed a claim and just let it sit in his garage for 10 years after an accident and never got around to fixing it. My plan was to do the work it needed and make it a project car, but after moving to Missouri I lost the garage space and time to do it. I am selling it for what I paid for in parts and labor ($6,500), but once its completely fixed it can be worth double or triple that to a collector since everything except the headlights are original or OEM replacements. The car starts and runs, however it cannot be driven for too long as it still has a fuel issue somewhere. My guess is that many small parts need to be replaced because of the car sitting for 11 years without starting. This is where someone that has a moderate understanding of automotive repair can capitalize because as soon as the minor issues are fixed, this can become a collector's item.KNOWN ISSUES: fuel system (either sensors, and/or lines), stereo head unit doesn't work properly (wiring issue), passenger seat belt (doesn't roll back up automatically), and the airbag/seat belt sensor (turns on and off randomly).WORK DONE: new headlights (not OEM), body work on front fenders and bumper, new fuel pump installed, spark plug wires.Like I said, the sale price is what i have invested in body parts/labor and I'm taking a loss on what I paid for the actual car and shipping costs. Obviously there is no warranty, refunds, or returns on this sale. Buyer will be responsible for arranging shipping of the vehicle since it does not run well enough to travel long distances. Thanks for looking!ORIGINAL PARTS: rims/tires, all the interior, all components in the engine bay (motor/transmission) Images Download the Motors app
