2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty SRW SUPER DUTY.
Please read full description. Vehicle runs and drives, but is in need of some repair before used at full capacity! I bought this vehicle from a local business and fixed it up. It was used for landscaping work and plowing, and they no longer used it.
It runs, drives and stops just fine, but the front bearings/hubs howl and it"s not recommended to take on the highway.
Good/Recent Work
-7.3L Diesel starts and runs well (Started in 6 deg F without being plugged in) -Automatic transmission shifts properly -New Synthetic transmission fluid
-New transmission cooling lines
-New synthetic 5w-40 oil -2018 batteries replaced -New starter -Manual windows/Locks -New door locks and matching ignition cylinder -Repainted white (originally red) -Bed is from an F250 (badges say F250, it is an F350), not completely rust free, but like the photos, it looks pretty good. -3.73 limited slip differential -SOTF Electric 4x4 works -Clean title in my name -A/C worked last summer, could probably use some freon but blew cold air.
Needs Work -Needs front wheel bearings and possibly hubs
-Needs U-joints
-Needs a manual locker on front drivers side
-Front axle seals need replacing -Carrier bearing needs replacing -The bearings are worn that I would not recommend driving on the highway. I would highly recommend towing. I would only drive about 30mph tops. -This is a northern vehicle, the lower door rockers have rust, and in some places the rust has chewed through the metal on the lower rockers.
-Interior is in fair shape, I would recommend steam cleaning. It appears there"s some overspray inside from when it was painted. -Oversized tires rub when steering wheel is fully articulated. -May need power steering work? Wheel is hard to turn at a dead stop, might be because it"s just a heavy truck. -Needs coolant temperature sensor replaced (I will include an OEM one)
