Vehicle description
Vehicle Details We are proud to represent this amazing Ford Truck. We think it's probably safe to assume that this is one of the better examples of the 10th Generation F-series. Nice factory options such as 5.4Triton, Limited Slip Rear differential, and Sport Package (color-matched bumpers instead of chrome) makes the truck ride and look great. The paint job was done properly with most trims, plastics, windows, emblems, and lights were removed to get fresh paint everywhere it needs to get to (without masking tape lines) and stay off of everything that should not be (pictures of the process and before and after available). The dry climate in So-Cal does keep everything rust-free but the sun does take its toll too. Amazingly, the interior: dash, seats, and carpets were all saved from the sun, because the previous owner had gone the extra mile of covering all of it. We have since removed all of it and as you see in the pictures the interior looks almost new! ! The drivetrain is great as well, the engine starts right up and sounds great, the transmission shifts through all gears smoothly, the transfer case shifts through 4X4HI & 4X4LO. Tires are at around 60%. Blaupunkt stereo with Bluetooth and back up camera. Bed is The Flaws:The seat does have a burn mark, it happened while it was at the paint shop(they didn't take responsibility for it. . obviously). The foam material that is used around the cup holders (see pics)on the center-armrest is getting misshaped. Too bad ford didn't offer covers for them, otherwise, we'd bet the previous owner would've bought it)The driver's door handle has cracked on the inside and is loose. The back-up camera that was originally installed with the stereo system malfunctioned so I replaced it with one I had laying around, but it's not for being mounted on a rear-license plate. So, it works, but it's not permanent (see pics). Overall, besides the few items mentioned, which really is very minimal considering the truck is almost 20 years old! ! The engine used in these f-150 is more problem-free than the newer Triton motors that ford used later on.I did a bunch of research before buying this truck, I wanted something that was comfy and modern enough to drive around town, powerful enough to tow my race-car to Autoclub Speedway, and I had plans to lift it and use it to go on trips with. Well, priorities change real fast when your expected sales get cut by more than 3/4. The racecar is gone and now is these ones turn. I was looking for a 4X4 flare-side for a long time before running into this one, and I'm a car dealer so I pretty much look for cars for a living. I was willing to settle for a non-sport model with the chrome so I settled for this one. Not in a rush to sell so thanks for the "cash offers" and I am not giving the car away.
