For sale is an absolutely beautiful 2002 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4 with the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel engine. 2002 was the last full production year of the 7.3 Powerstroke before Ford made the switch to the 6.0 in the half year of 2003, making this example a rarity. This Excursion features many upgrades including a 6" lift kit with traction bars and Fox Shocks. The front is fitted with a quad shock external reservoir system. The Excursion Limited model was the highest trim level available and is fitted with every factory option including power/heated leather seats, front and rear A/C, power windows, power venting side windows, power locks, cruise control, overhead console and third row seating. This Excursion comes complete with its original window sticker, 2 sets of original keys, all of the original owner"s manuals and a folder full of maintenance receipts and invoices for parts dating back to the early 2000s.
The interior of this Excursion shows very well. The leather seats are in great shape without any tears or separating seams. The driver"s side outer seat bottom bolster is worn as shown. The carpets are free of any stains or cigarette burns. This is a non-smoking vehicle and the cigarette lighter has never been used as shown below. The headliner is in excellent condition and does not have any sagging areas. This truck has been fitted with an aftermarket stereo system with bluetooth and has an upgraded amplifier under the rear seat which powers the door speakers. All of the lights and power options are working as they should.
The exterior of this Excursion is finished in Toreador Red and looks fantastic. The paint has a very nice shine and does not have any peeling clear coat anywhere. The paint does have a few blemishes expected of its age and mileage such as road chips and a few fine scratches. There is also some chipped paint around the outer perimeter of the fuel door, front edge of the driver"s side fender near the bumper and near the rear door window trim on either side, however these areas have been touched up with OEM color matched paint. There are no major blemishes otherwise. See the detailed photos below to view these areas. The body is very straight with just a few small dings. The undercarriage of this Excursion is very solid and largely rust free, having typical surface rust on the frame and suspension components as shown.
This Excursion runs and drives very well. The 7.3 Powerstroke engine has plenty of power and torque. This truck is equipped with an AFE cold air intake, 4" exhaust and a Banks waste gate actuator. The truck does not have a performance tuner and is otherwise stock aside from the above mentioned items. A new remanufactured transmission was installed approximately 10,000 miles ago and the receipt from that purchase is included with the truck. A new glow plug control module has just been installed along with a new set of rear rotors, brake pads and parking brake shoes with a spring kit. The truck is fitted with a set of 17" Pro Comp wheels with 315/70/17 (35") tires with approximately 30% tread left.
