Vehicle description

I am selling my beloved 2002 Chrysler drop top. I am the second owner on this little gem and it has only 101,175 adult driven miles. Mostly kept in garage or under carport. Clean CARFAX, NON SMOKER Vehicle. The good: Lovely silver metallic silver body paint with the normal signs or use for a 16 year old automobile. The paint is set off by a Navy Blue Fabric top with a matching navy blue leather interior. No flaws, rips, tears or stains on either the top or the interior. A/C, PS, PB, PDL, Power windows, power mirrors, power driver’s seat, AF/FM Stereo with mp3 input jack and a 4 CD Changer. A peppy but reasonably economical 2.7 liter DOHC V6. Engine is stock except for an K&N permanent air filter. It gets up to 27 mpg on the interstate and between 21 and 23 around town. It has a 4 speed, shift able, automatic transmission. New front tires in the last year, Rear tires still have a lot of tread, New struts on all four corners last year. Original owner’s manual, All service records during my ownership. The bad This year and model Sebring Convertible is notorious for a loose connection in the Air Bag sensor circuit under the passenger seat which results in the dash “Air Bag” light coming on. Moving the seat back and forth or jiggling the wires would turn the light off. Now, however, the seat track is jammed in one position and I cannot reach all the wires. Seat needs to be removed, the adjustment track un-jammed and the connectors repaired or replaced. While not be driven much in the last year something has gotten into the HVAC blower fan. When the blower is turned on it sounds like a playing card hitting the spokes of a bicycle wheel. Blower fan will have to be opened and whatever the blade is hitting moved or removed. I have dropped the asking $2495 which is a average of Kelly Blue Book and NADA pricing less a $900+ allowance for the “Bad.” Taxes, licensing, title and transfer fees will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will work with an out-of-area buyer as best as I can. The car is located in the Jeffersontown/Fern Creek, Kentucky area. This is an “As Is” sale with no warranties expressed or implied.
