Selling my 2002 CHP Chevy Tahoe, restoration-in-progress. This is an actual retired CHP vehicle, unit #C2395F. Yes, they used this body style Tahoe, and yes that is the correct front bumper. It was on patrol duty in Sonoma county until 2012, when it was decommissioned, stripped out, and sold to the public. I began restoring it last year, but it needs a new home that can complete the restoration. The Tahoe has a clean title (marked Prior Police) in my name, ready to sell.
Since 2019 it"s gotten: new paint, new battery, new fuel pump, new brake rotors, pads, calipers, refurbished wheels, new tires, new headlights, tail lights, grill, and replica decals properly sized, accurately installed, and color matched to an in-service CHP vehicle.
It has the 5.3L V8 engine with automatic transmission and 4WD. Odometer reads 246k, previous owner supposedly replaced transmission a few years ago. I have all service records from CHP! The truck runs very well, though sometimes the fuel pump is slow to kick in and may take a couple key turns before it starts. Interior has been professionally cleaned and detailed.
A correct style Vision lightbar is mounted on the roof but not hooked up. Domes and filters are correct except outside red filters need alley cutouts. Front bumper has correct winch, fog lights and siren speaker installed. Has roof mounted Antennex whip and "hockey puck" antenna, as well as side mounted black Antenna Specialists ball mount with Firestik CB whip. Replica license plates included in sale. Many hard to find CHP parts included but not installed:

This truck has immense potential and a lot of work and parts collection already done, it just needs a new owner that can put in the time/effort to finish the restoration.
