Vehicle description
Vehicle Details 2002 Camaro LS1 T56 I have owned as a second car since September 2018. Engine is stock including the exhaust, intake, and all. It runs flawlessly. Has the factory Hurst shifter and shifts great. The prior owner kept excellent records of all work performed including oem gm bilstein shocks (these came on the SS models), new pads/rotors, new windshield, new BMR front sway bar, BMR rear control arms, LGmotorsports oil catch can, and a BMR panhard rod. He had the windows tinted, and its still perfect. When I got the car it had new looking Nitto tires, but a flat on the rear prompted me to buy an even newer pair for the rear. They have less than 2000 miles on them. I added a bulk box of Hushmat sound deadender behind the interior panels/in the doors, and replaced the worn factory speakers with Hertz ones front and rear. I also replaced the stock headunit with an Alpine bluetooth unit. I also added an Alpine amp. The seats are in great shape for nearly 100k miles. No tears and the foam is good. AC and heat work spectacularly. The dash has a small crack near the defrost duct, but the main part of it is still perfect. This can be seen in the pics. Carpet is great. Headliner great. No water leaks or wind noise at 80 mph. This Camaro is a low option model- manual transmission, locks, hatch, windows, and mirrors. Not many things to break! Lastly, it does have a few flaws. The paint is 6/10. It has numerous scratches and parking lot dings. I tried my best to get pics of them. I has NO rust and hasn't been wrecked. Its been in north TX its whole life. The roof has paint bubbles- this is common on the 98-02s. The hood is aftermarket and isn't a perfect fit. The rear axle has new Timken bearings and Moser axles also with Timken bearings, but does have some minor gear noise. The urethane suspension makes more noise than a stock car. The top of the steering wheel is slightly sun damaged. That being said, for a nearly 20 year old car this is in better shape than a lot of others. Brad Images Download the Motors app
