Vehicle description
For sale is my 2002 Cadillac Eldorado #1428 of 1596 produced in this last year for the Eldorado. Clean inside and out, senior-owned, well maintained with low miles under 63,000. The 300 horse 4.6 L Northstar runs like a top, and with new power steering components it handles like a dream. Loaded with options. Please see photos for the window sticker details. This vehicle stickered at $49,980 in 2002. The increased market recognition of these Eldorados is reflected in the NADA book pricing. I have set a very reasonable reserve well under book value. We have retired, downsized and are parting with this Cadillac. It is my daily driver in summer, and is stored in winter. I have put approximately 10k miles on the car in the three years I"ve owned it. We have taken it to local cruise-ins, on day trips and weekend trips and I have no hesitation driving it long distance or around town.
Recent repairs totaling over $5000 at a local Cadillac dealership include: Gas tank dropped and cleaned, fuel level sensor replaced Steering column disassembled, repaired horn, turn signals, wipers New intake manifold gasket and seals New power steering pump and steering gear Front end alignment New canister purge valve and mass air flow sensor Repaired vacuum leak at secondary injector pump New ignition lock cylinder New bank 2 Oxygen sensor
Other service includes at 59,000, oil change, brakes cleaned and adjusted, new battery. The previous owner in Arizona was meticulous, having lots of routine maintenance done as well as new front and rear struts, suspension work and Michelin tires (at 42K)
Please see the photos. An eighteen year old car will have some expected minor issues in and out. I have tried to show any imperfections but as you can see, this car shows very well. Custom Cadillac front mats are included. There is a stain on one side of the rear carpet. The sunroof opens with a touch of the switch, but must be held until closed upon returning. Door moldings show some wear. As you may know, the trim tag on these cars has no paint code. I found and ordered the alpine white touch-up from 1953 (the paint used on the Collector Series) and it is a spot-on match. If you are at all undecided about this Eldorado, please come see it in person to put your mind at ease. These cars are the perfect mix of Cadillac luxury, sports car handling and hot rod power and for me it has been a true pleasure to own and drive.
As with any used vehicle, this one is being sold as-is, with no warranties stated or implied. If I receive a local offer, I reserve the option to end the auction. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required within 48 hours of auction end. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking.
