2002 BMW E46 M3 SMG Convertible with 143,800 miles - NO RESERVE Imola red with red leather and black accents. Perfect mechanical condition, and immaculate engine compartment. Never in an accident. Always garage kept. All recent maintenance and both air bag recalls performed through Fields BMW in Orlando FL. Camshaft adjustments, valve shims, and a complete vanos update at 130,000 miles (as per previous 68 year old owner). Sequential manual 6-speed transmission with paddle shifters. SMG pump has been inspected and serviced. Correct Continental Control Contact Tires have less than 500 miles on them, and the BMW original equipment chrome wheels are in very good overall condition - no curbing or road rash, and they are straight and true. Auto Check is included and this vehicle is well over the top of the chart. I have owned this car for the past 3+ years and 5K miles. It is in great, unmolested condition. It is garaged and driven once or twice a week, with the occasional multi-day road trip. It is not modified in any way, and is 100% stock. This car is not a trailer queen. It has been driven fast on highways where appropriate, and it is exceedingly capable. There are no noticeable dents on the body. Original paint with the normal and expected paint chips on the front spoiler, nose and hood, and some minor surface rust issues are also starting to appear (see last photos of close ups). BMW original windshield glass was replaced last year (preference, and a pet peeve because I hate road chipped glass). Interior surfaces are in good shape with the normal amount of scratches and dings expected of a well driven car of this age. I do not use armor all, or any other phony shine cover ups. All rubber seals have been treated regularly with Gummi Pflege (look it up if you don"t know about it - a must for convertible seals). Convertible top is very good, but headliner has the common E46 issue where the ‘wings’ have failed and the material hangs by the rear passenger’s head (see last photos for close up). Leather seats are regularly conditioned. CD player works, but radio has lousy reception (personally, I listen to the engine when driving). The convertible top wind screen that fits over the rear seats is included, as well as its storage bag. The front license plate bracket is also included, if you are in a state that requires them. This car is a modern classic, and highly collectible - you can drive and enjoy while it goes up in value. Also, insurance is low through classic car insurers like Hagerty (cost me only $198 a year for this car, but ymmv). Additionally, this is not a hacked kids car you often see with "carbon fiber" tape stuck all over the trim, aftermarket rims, tint, spoilers, splitters, air intakes, radios, chips and modifications, etc. - this is a 100% bone stock unmolested vehicle, and one of the most honest examples of a well driven and well maintained M3 you will likely see on eBay.
