Vehicle description
Wonderful 2002 Alpine White M3 manual transmission (not SMG) coupe over manual, cloth interior in excellent working condition with all current maintenance. Nice select aftermarket additions but by and large a good, honest stock example of one of the greatest sport coupes ever produced and the last of a dying breed of raw, naturally aspirated BMW M cars. Sale guaranteed to haunt current owner (and future sellers) for years to come.

BMWCCA-ENTHUSIAST OWNED AND ALL SERVICE RECORDS INCLUDED FROM DAY ONE. NEVER RACED.
Pros: Alpine White on Black Cloth / Manual Seats (very rare and wonderful combination, particularly in connection with brushed aluminum trim and suede shift boot and steering wheel); 19" OEM wheels THROUGHLY SORTED CAR. Engine very smooth and powerful. Clutch and transmission working 100% perfectly. Brakes and suspension very tight. Leaks no fluids whatsoever. Brand new OEM-spec clutch job (clutch disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing, flywheel) Brand new suede steering wheel with contrasting BMW M stitching Brand new window exterior trim and front cowl trim Genuine BMW short shifter kit with ZHP knob and suede boot Fresh oil change (BMW 10w60 oil) Fresh tires, less than 500 miles (Sumitomo HTR Z III 245/35r19 front / 275/30r19 rear) VANOS works perfectly Rod bearings replaced during original factory warranty period Subframe reinforcement not completed but thoroughly inspected last year with no evidence of any cracking Stereo works perfectly, no pixels out in dash or stereo interface AC Schnitzer cutback exhaust and intake (car sounds absolutely wonderful, very raspy); aftermarket rear spoiler and front carbon fiber lip spoiler. Black front grill (with M color trim) and side fender vents; otherwise STOCK Clean blue Texas title in my name, no liens This car has been owned by enthusiasts since day one, and the maintenance history and current condition reflects this. Trusted mechanic says this car is in top 10% of e46 M3 on road and I would agree - not a mint, showroom example, but very nice and has been a total joy to own. Only selling because family obligations have resulted in me recently acquiring a sedan. Cons: Car was originally SMG car - converted over using full original 6-spd swap candidate by performance shop in Dallas in 2016. I did not like aftermarket clutch / flywheel "upgrades" from previous owner and convert to original OEM spec. Drives beautifully and as-new. Minor rock chips on front, recently touched up but does not look perfect Minor chip to front exterior plastic trim molding under passenger headlight Sagging headliner Misc wear and tear on interior (though still looks good for age); seat bolsters show some wear (though no cracks) Minor curb rash on wheels (no bends and nothing that couldn"t easily be retouched; driving here in Houston I chose to ignore; look perfectly fine) Only one key Other pictures, walk-around video and any information you might want to know are available upon request, just ask. This is a wonderful car that I will miss greatly. My goal is to be the most open and honest Seller with a listing on eBay.
