Vehicle description

ONLY 43,000 ACTUAL MILES! ! ! !This car is a very hard to find YELLOW SPORT trim of the iconic New Beetle line of VW"s that were built from 1997 to 2014. This sport or s version has it all, in my opinion. It has the VERY desirable Yellow color , the 5 speed manual transmission, the 20 valve most powerful 4 cylinder turbocharged engine, the black REAL leather seats and the the VERY RARE Sport 5 spoke style of allow wheels! This is a whole lot of car for ONLY $5500! ! The bad is, this car has a salvage rebuilt title. It is very hard to see any evidence of an accident from looking it at but I would prefer that anyone interested in buying it would personally inspect it BEFORE buying it now and I REQUIRE that EVERYONE interested in buying it contact me BEFORE buying it now. This is NOT a buy it now and maybe I"ll purchase it after I see it and think about it aucton. There is a $500 NOT refundable deposit REQUIRED with buy it now and unless I have obviously misrepresented something BIG this deposit is mine to keep no matter what "other" problem ANY buyer has with completing the purchase. This is MOSTLY why I REQUIRE ALL potential buyers contact me BEFORE pressing buy it now when selling anything in the thousands of dollars. It is much better to be safe than sorry. If a salvage title is a big worry for you in a $5000 car, then please keep looking elsewhere. PLEASE! Life is WAY to short. The only indicators of an accident physically that I have noticed are where the front driver side fender meets the body and that was only noticeable to me upon very close up inspection looking for a previous accident and knowing where the accident was by purchasing a Carfax. There is a very small gap as seen in the pictures. (A Carfax would be a great idea to do for anyone interested probably for a piece of mind on this cars history)(I have no other history on it because I got it at a dealers auction) I got my Carfax over 6 months ago also so, I can"t share it because they are only viewable for a short while-30 or 60 days?. I bought this car for my girlfriend and she loves it but she is 60 and broke her ankle recently and has arthritis in her right fingers so the shifting bothers her injuries and I am now selling this very cool car. Other issues are the ac is NOT working and I don"t know why and can"t fix it. I tried to give it a freon charge but it would not take it. My research is telling me that the system is full of air and needs to be evacuated before it can receive freon but am not sure this is the problem or the only problem. Both windows go up slowly and the drivers side needs minor assistance (there"s a simple but annoying trick to helping it it up ONLY- they go down easily. I replaced the driver side motor assembly (new unit) recently but I think it still needs adjustment and have I the motor assembly for the passenger side(new unit still in box) but did not install it because that side is still working better than the driver side and fairly well-that unit goes uninstalled with the car. The rear hatch will also not lock but I am GUESSING that is a fairly minor problem also.Everything else about this car feels like a 43,000 mile car. It is a joy to drive and own and once the minor issues are fixed (or not?) this should give the next owner another 100,000 miles PLUS of sun bug driving, all for only $5500 obo.
