1997 Volkswagen Cabrio GL. Engine runs nice but has a oil dumping issue, ( I think it"s from oil sending unit?) Automatic transmission was rebuilt around 110,000 miles. I think it"s worth the restore for someone. But right now i do not consider the car a driver.
Update: Last bidder welched so it"s going back up. While it was up for auction last time a bidder had a suggestion it might be the oil cooler o-ring smart guy that is what it was. $50.00 fix, o-ring, oil, filter. So that is fixed. Also found out from V.W. that it has a ABA block, supposedly bullet proof.
