We am listing our personal car - we are the second owners and continue to drive it daily so the mileage will go up. We are only selling it since our kids are now in college and we have no need for an extra vehicle. Please read the full description and see the pics - this is an 18 year old car - it is physically and mechanically sound except for the know issues we have listed. THE GOOD Ice cold ac - have maintenance receipts) - everything works - top doesn’t leak - engine or transmission doesn’t leak - runs shifts and drives as it should - MD emissions good through September 2020 - timing belt done at 100k miles
NEW IN LAST YEAR Rear brake pads and rotors - torque mount - spark plugs - alternator and battery - left front axle - rear struts THE BAD Has the typical Toyota red paint fading and clear coat issues (see pics) - driver"s seat leather shows it’s age
ABS/TRAC OFF light comes on and off (for years) along with check engine light (P0171 and P0174)
I have taken it to my mechanic to see what it will need to pass MD Safety Inspection: stabilizer links - power steering pump “wet” -front brake pads - right front axle boot leaking (possibly on power steering pump) - gasket at back of lower catalytic converter leaking (see attached MD Inspection doc in pics) - I am unsure what it may need for inspection in any other state.
Clear MD title in my name - reasonable cash offers in person only - there is no reason why this Solara can"t continue to be a great daily driver with some TLC.
